Bard spells are not going to cost more (or do more) just because they're Bards.

>>I am curious about the stances--so assuming 70% is the min and 130% is the max, is it a straight % mod we're talking about? So if I'm at 100/100/100 and I cast the Deflect Damage spell and it negates 100 points of damage before it is dispelled, if I change my stance to 130/70/100 (power/duration/integrity) does that mean it will now negate 130 points of damage before it is dispelled?

No, it's a modifier to how your mana is getting partitioned between the three stats. By default, your mana is split evenly between creating Potency, Duration and Integrity. Spell Stance changes that ratio, so that, for example, only 75% of the normal amount (which was ~33%) is going to Duration but 125% is going into Potency.

The result will be noticeable but it's not a simple equation to damage points or minutes.
