| It's definitely faster to drop the spell and recast it -- in effect, taking conscious effort to redo the field rather than letting the spell flail ineffectively for awhile. The re-invisibility trick has some merits, including a subtle one you may discover in testing, but it was put in primarily to acknowledge that you can't kill a held mana spell with your finger. | |
