History
Tess was the only daughter of tavern owners and fully expected the whole of her life to be led in the confines of the small town where she was born. Her parents, however, wanted her to do more and see more of the world before she settled into place at the tavern. Bemused at their insistence on this course of action, she packed a few things and set off to see the world.
After a few years of aimless traveling, Tess discovered that she was thoroughly in love with a transient lifestyle. However, her lack of direction and personal growth began to irritate. She wished to contribute somehow, to have some talent to lend to her traveling companions and the world at large. She recalled the infrequent stops at her parent's tavern by guilded Bards and began to investigate the Guild. A few days after landing in Crossings, she went ahead and joined the Guild, thrilled about the opportunity to become a Bard.
Current Affairs
Shortly after joining, she met Ryken, who began helping her discover a great deal about the Guild. Eventually, he placed her as an Apprentice alongside and under the mentorship of Dulin, a situation she finds frustrating but rewarding.
