Description: | Ancient tales describe an all-consuming, colorless flame known as Blackfire. The Incinerate spell is one fairly weak form of that foul magic, unable to remain in effect for more than a quick blast of explosive black flame. It is often times instantly fatal, but even when it isn't, the effects are painful. Avoid naphtha when casting this spell. | |
Example Messaging: | The ground trembles as massive gouts of colorless flame explode upward, sending blackened embers and twirling, dark sparks into the sky! The black fire surrounds a fendryad, consuming flesh and scorching the ground beneath its feet! Its body explodes as fire bursts out from within, spraying boiling blood and burning pieces of bone in a wide circle! A shower of violently crackling black sparks descends over the area! |

Notes
- Destroys body part struck. If the spell misses entirely it causes no damage.
- Incinerate leaves a matrix behind preventing it from being cast in the room for up to a few minutes.
- Naphtha doesn't light and seems to reduce the effect of incinerate.
- When memorized, the Flashpoint cantrip will take the form of Blackfire.
- Despite many years of saying otherwise, recently it has been said that Incinerate will NOT be allowed to be permenantly learned by Warrior Mages.
