About Wartug

Wartug is a proud Gor'Tog warrior who desires to be the ultimate unstoppable force by unlocking and utilizing the full potential of barbarians' various berserk abilities. Though boastful and a self-proclaimed "one Tog army," he prefers solitude and keeps to himself, training at a near constant pace with an unrelenting desire to be stronger and ever more powerful. What little conversation he engages in is usually with his loyal friend and traveling companion, Halfling trader Kardlo Brownfeather. Wartug has strong convictions firmly set in the belief that all decisions have consequences and all living things must be held accountable for those decisions, good or bad. He is a tactician at heart and lives by the saying "a good offense is a good defense." Though he is proud of his incredible strength and natural killing ability, his true pride lies in being able to take massive amounts of physical damage and continue to strive forward unphased. Wartug has a deep hatred of ogres and decorates his armor and weapons using their bones and skulls.

Trains in brawling, two-handed edged, and heavy crossbow. Wears leather armor with heavy plate accessories and a small arm-worn shield.

Alterations

1. a war helm forged as a blackened dragon's skull with long twisting horns
(altered forged HP great helm 160 stone H/H H/H M/H G/G M/G P/G Light/fair hind / mod strong construction)
LOOK: Expertly forged of shadow-black steel, the helm is a perfect mix of form and function. Small iron spikes have been embedded into the dragon's furrowed brow, which hangs over crimson eyeplates that cover the skull's sockets. Wild brown horsehair extends upwards from between two massive ironwood horns and arcs downward, ending at the segmented plates forming the rear of the neck.

2.a grim repeating crossbow with war trophies hanging from a leather-wrapped stock (altered 4-shot repeating HX)
LOOK: Crafted from blackened mammoth bone gruesomely embedded with dark iron spikes, the crossbow is as massive as it is deadly. Frayed, shadow-black leather is wrapped tightly around the stock, while bones and other putrid pieces of enemies past hang from strips of sinew. Slashes are crudely etched into the boltplate to represent fallen foes.

3. an aged tabard shrouded in layers of blackened plates forged as heavy dragon scales
LOOK: This knee-length warrior's tabard has been crafted from heavy leather painstakingly reinforced with multiple layes of overlapping steel plates which have been fire-blackened and forged in the shape of sharp-edged dragon scales. The plates overlap and are segmented in a complex fashion which allows complete freedom of movement from its wearer. Topping the tabard is a heavy collar forged of darkened iron and inset with upward curving spikes.

4. some fire-blackened tribal war armor with crudely tethered ogre skull pauldrons
(altered aged leather combat armor 800 stones H/F H/M H/F F/L F/L P/P overwhelm/fair hind / unbelievably strong construction)
LOOK: The bulky suit of armor is crudely crafted from overlapping plates of scorched aged leather and edged with charred bone spikes. Centered upon the breastplate is a faint seal which can not be made out through the various battle scars which cover the entirety of the armor's hardened leather surface. Each shoulder has a single massive, jawless ogre skull tethered with heavy leather strips which connect to a darkened iron ring and forming an X across the armor's center. Large spikes protrude from each of the blackened ogre skulls' eyesockets.

5. a darkened battle buckler with heavy chains crisscrossing an ogre skull boss (altered croc-skin buckler)
LOOK: Crafted from dark crocodile skin and reinforced with blackened plates, it is lightweight yet very durable. Large, tarnished chains are wrapped around the shield and overlap to create a large X over a centered boss which is crafted from the fractured facial portion of an adult-sized ogre's skull. A bullseye has been painted upon the forehead in a faded blood-like color. Heavy shadow-black leather straps ensure a firm fit upon the wearer's arm.

6. some dark war gauntlets with iron spiked plates and bloodstained knuckle guards
(altered forged HP gauntlets 51 stones. H/H H/H M/H G/G M/G P/G light/light hind / mod strong construction)
LOOK: Heavily scarred, they are forged of overlapping darkened plates embedded with short iron spikes. Small bones scorched a deep black are held firmly in place by overlapping tarnished chains which crisscross themselves across the full length of each gauntlet. Set over the fingers are bloodstained knuckle guards crafted from thick bone.

7. a massive skull-clasped soldier's haversack reinforced with dark iron plates
LOOK: Crafted from sturdy leather dyed a deep black, the container was once a standard issue soldier's haversack. Now heavily worn from years of abusive combat, thick iron plates have been roughly bolted onto its exterior and appear to be the only reason it hasn't unraveled at a moment's notice.

8. a pair of weathered-grey ghoulskin combat pants with dark iron knee guards
LOOK: Thick plates of darkened iron forged in the visage of demonic faces are crudely bolted over the knees while tarnished steel chains crisscross the waist, draping downward from a circular buckle set with a single skull-shaped bloodstone. Various bones and trophies of war are tethered with sinew around the full length of the weathered belt.

9. a monstrous executioner's greatsword with a cleaver-shaped blade and iron-spiked skullcrusher
(altered forged 99 stone greatsword. L/BC/H poorly/well suited / well constructed)
LOOK: About as long as an average Gor'Tog male, the weapon's age is shown by the dark, blood-stained leather wrapped around the grip. Plates of heavily studded dark iron form a thick hilt which creates a base for the colossal serrated blade. A blackened ogre skull has been crudely placed over the greatsword's pommel, which is still visible by a long spike that extends through a crack in the top of the skull. Impressed into the metal is the image of a rampant bear over the name "Drevid" in bold lettering.

10. a thick iron eyepatch secured with bloodstained leather straps
LOOK: Crudely crafted from a slab of scorched black iron bolted onto three straps of aged leather, it is war torn and battered. Dozens of scratches, dents, and cuts cover its surface while old stains of blood make it hard to tell the original color of the faded leather. A bullseye has been engraved into the center of the metal slab and painted in a bright shade of crimson. Words have been etched into the eyepatch's inside.

11. a shadowy battle harness (altered polished leather back harness, displays two weapons, back-worn)
LOOK: Expertly crafted from heavy aged leather reinforced with interlocking plates of forged blackened steel, the back-worn harness's design is complex yet does not intrude upon the movements of its wearer. The steel plates have been forged to appear as battle torn dragon scales ending in sharply edged points. Set in the middle is a rusty iron clasp crudely shaped as a jawless skull.

12. some midnight black imperial war boots tipped with small silver spikes
LOOK: The boots are hand-tooled with the image of a fully armored paladin raising his sword in triumph, and seated upon a massive silvery dragon as it takes flight through darkened skies.

13. a thick bear-hide battle shroud with tarnished steel plates mounted along the shoulders
LOOK: The shroud is embroidered with the Draikien family arms -- a cave bear clasping a battle axe in one paw and a bundle of mayflowers in the other.

14. a heavy raider's slurbow with a blackened ogre bone stock wrapped in withered zombie skin (altered Cavalryman's Slurbow HX)
LOOK: Thick plates crudely crafted from fire-blackened ogre bone have been bolted onto the stock which has been wrapped in heavy strips of greenish-grey zombie skin. Carved along the length of the matte-black frame are twisted faces of wailing souls reaching skyward with boney hands outstretched. Designed for mounted bowmen, the slurbow's complex design prevents the possibility of the bolt falling from the lath while riding.

15. an ironbark hunting quiver studded with animite (altered thigh quiver)
LOOK: Jungle lilies of shadowy-red animite embellish the dull grey ironbark exterior. Quilted nightsilk padding lines the inside to muffle any sounds caused by loading.
