HP Armor

Under the Recommended Armor it states that "Heavy plate armor must be worn on the torso and head. Jousters should also consider wearing heavy plate armor on the rest of their bodies."

This is not true, as I have worn HC on my head for a very long time while jousting, and it does not seem to effect it at all. I'm not sure if this is because I'm HC primary armor, but I think it's worth noting.

On a seperate, but similar note, what is the benefit of me wearing HP over HC considering my HC is 400+ ranks over HP?

Happy to do some test runs with you on this and see if we can narrow some things down or mark them as "for RP purposes". --Hithrael 04:52, 12 October 2011 (UTC)
Sure, I usually stay up near Theren, but I can go anywhere. --Healfdene Rokk 05:49, 12 October 2011 (UTC)
I've leapt off the horse at the last minute to avoid a head shot or torso shot, but I can't remember whether I was wearing no armor or chain armor. --Isharon 19:30, 12 October 2011 (UTC)
Yeah, I've leapt off due to wearing no/leather armor. I seem to remember be able to wear a chain on the body as well, but I'm not sure, sounds like something else to test. --Healfdene Rokk 23:32, 12 October 2011 (UTC)
