Liquid color

It appears there is a skill check that determines what color *gloop* the construct is made from. I have recieved the past fiery red gloop, then recently noticed carmine and today had light-absorbing gloop. I think these might be visual links to the caster's thanatology ranks, since I only saw light-absorbing with a capped cast of BUE.

Size progression

Id like to get the size progression and eventually the skill requirement for constructs. I have the following information from personal exp and info gathered from the boards (which may not all be accurate.) Id like to eventually have all the room, look and casting descriptions down however if it looks too cluttered simply having the room description should suffice. Also note that if not cast at the mana cap, the construct size may be smaller then your skill allows.

Notes

  • At 200 Thanatology, 176 TM and min prep (5 mana) I get "small dirt", at 30 mana it jumps to "Human-sized." This was also with IVM and REI up as well.
  • At 383 Thana, 311 TM, and casting QE at 60 mana with a 50 mana IVM up I sometimes get a "powerful" construct instead of a "broad" one. March 8, 2015.
Than/TM Room Desc Look Desc Casting Desc
60? a squat dirt construct Roughly the size of a Halfling Halfling-sized
120? a small dirt construct Standing almost as tall as a Human a small humanoid
180? a Human-sized construct As tall as a Human Human-sized
300 a broad dirt construct About the size of a Kaldar Large Humanoid
400 a powerful dirt construct Powerfully built and rising taller than most Humans powerful humanoid
