No. Generic invisibility (what you'd get from items) does not provide a boost, that is the providence of guild-based invisibility (spells and khri). >>If only using shadows for hiding and sneaking doesn't get you detected... then why does being invisible make it easier to be detected? There is no intended difference in the detection contests between Hidden and Invisible except for the invisibility bonus (or, in simple terms, Invisible > Hidden). This may not be working correctly, or player tests may be hampered by the usual problems of incredibly low sample sizes. I do not know off hand, which is why I explicitly said that was not part of the argument I had any issues with. | |
