>>What happens when a sorcerer hands a commoner a rune or scroll of Clear Vision and attempts to coach the commoner through the same process the sorcerer goes through when manipulating mana they can't see?

Nothing whatsoever.

There's a difference between a wrongly-attuned magician stretching out (theoretically through a holistic mana field) and someone who has no attunement to mana at all. It's the difference between a man with short arms and a man with no arms.

>>I take Feral Magic to mean, simply that magic that is wild and untamed. Haphazard and dangerous mana patterns.

In the revised version, Feral Magic is 4-way sorcery. Less spells and more like a barely controlled explosions of spell effects.
