Description

You are Flamedancer Abiageal Blackstorm, a Rakash Warrior Mage.
You have a heart-shaped face with elegant arched eyebrows, sullenly glowing viridian eyes and a button nose. Your red-streaked black hair is very long and curly, and is worn twisted in a series of narrow braids caught at the crown by a silvery satin ribbon and allowed to tumble down the back. You have pale skin and a svelte figure.
You are slightly under average height for a Rakash.
Some rosy talan pearls accented by rubies float lazily around your neck, glowing with a lustrous sheen against your skin.
You are a cub-herder.
You have a tattoo of a blood-red scorpion curled around a black rose on your ankle.

You are holding a gracefully curved scimitar with a pair of cambrinth wings set in the guard in your right hand.
You are wearing some bright red ribbons embroidered with butterflies, an elegant onyx earcuff decorated with a spiral of golden wire, a delicate necklace made from black Katamba moonstone and molded into the shape of a snarling panther, a heart-shaped golden locket, a twisted copper charm, a jade nose ring, a red rose, a jet feather threaded with tiny bloodstone beads, a black doeskin corset jeweled with petite ruby roses on rambling emerald vines, a silver filigree armband, a red rose wristlet, a gold and emerald ring, a brushed platinum wedding band, a slender platinum engagement ring set with a ruby heart, a ruby-studded ring trapping damilyo pearls within a tangle of thorny gold briars, a glittering silver silk dance veil, a flame red weapons belt with a Warrior Mage Guild crest buckle, a wicked silver belt knife, a thick ruddy leather bullwhip, a black gem pouch, some tight-fitting leggings of supple black leather with an overskirt of knotted ribbons, an elegant platinum anklet of circular disks clasped with a light ethereal aevanstone and some knee-high deerskin boots.

History

Abiageal was born outside of Siksraja to a Rakash warrior couple. She had a happy life growing up with her parents, an only child adored by her family. Her parents had been born during the great migration and grew up hearing the stories of Lyras from their parents. And so Abiageal grew up steeped in the lore of her people and the history of Lyras.

When the barrier fell and Lyras began invading Kermoria, Abiageal was just a young thirteen years old. The horror of what was occurring seemed distant to her, but her parents and grandparents felt the call to defend their new home. Left to her own devices, Abiageal quickly learned to take care of herself and the cottage she called home. The villagers tried to help as best they could, but most of the able-bodied had left to fight.

The war came crashing home for Abiageal as body after body of friend and loved one returned home or the wounded came back to tell tales of bodies rising from the ashes of the battlefield to fight against those they once called comrades. Then it was her grandfather’s body, then her grandmother’s and when she was fifteen, her father’s body came home. Her mother came back briefly, to say goodbye to loved ones and to convince Abiageal her place was in Siksraja caring for the wounded.

They fought bitterly as Abiageal wanted to be by her mother’s side and avenge the wrong done to her father and her people. Her last words to her mother were “I hate you!” as her mother left and two others held her back from following. At that moment, Abiageal’s resolve was firm. She would train and train hard then when she was ready, she would show her mother that she was a warrior and could do anything she wanted to. So for two long years, she trained by herself in the woods. Using her father’s pockmarked old sword against a tree and chopping wood to build up the strength in her arms.

In time, news of Lyras’ defeat reached the village but as the months passed by no word of her mother arrived. None of the returning warriors knew where she was. Giving up the cottage to a few of the wounded she had helped nurse, Abiageal made the decision to search for her mother. One of the warriors had mentioned that she had last been seen in the vicinity of the Crossing.

Wrapping up her few belongs in a pack; Abiageal began the long trek down to Crossing. Once she arrived, a kind man at a local inn suggested that she search out a guild. Choosing one at random, she began her career as a Warrior Mage. She began to travel Kermoria looking for clues while training to get stronger in her guild.

When she was 18, she met what she thought was the love of her life, Tolcon. He offered to help her find her mother and she quickly fell under the spell of the slightly older man. They were soon wed but it didn’t last. Less than a year into the marriage, Abiageal found a clue that her mother was far to the north of Therengia and left to follow the trail, Tolcon didn’t follow her. When she came back a few months later, she learned that Tolcon had found someone new. A divorce quickly followed.

Heartbroken at the loss of her husband, she secluded herself in Siksraja for the greater part of the next year. She later emerged, slightly more cynical than before. She began making new friends, amongst them an older Elothean man with kind eyes. She had only met him a few times when she realized he made her heart race and her stomach flutter. One day, she spent a lot of time with her new crush. In the span of that day, she dated then bonded Thordus (after all, they had promised Katjia to take it slow). It was fate and she knew that what she had shared with her ex-husband Tolcon had been just infatuation. What she had now was deep abiding love. As she was overheard saying to her friends, he makes her laugh and gives her the warm fuzzies.
