Sentinels (group)

The Sentinels are the city guards in Shard. The current Sentinel Captain is Cierzen. In year 397, the sentinel force was bolstered with recruits from the House of the Steel Dove, but there are many non-Elothean sentinels still, including the one guarding the blockade at the north end of Obsidian Pass.

There are two known elite sects of the Sentinels: the Watchmen and the First Fists.
