Minute
In response to Caraamon's edit: "sorry the word minute doesn't exist in Elanthia. Take it up with the GMs if ya hate it :P"
The word "minute" arguably exists in Elanthia. Several NPCs use it. (This is apart from systems that clearly use OOC time.) There also several books, a Bardic recall, and at least one spell that refer to "minutes." If the GMs regard the word "minute" as OOC, they should remove all IC references to it.

A History of Trefan Draus: But as their blades bit into his limbs our Lord cried out and struck at his attackers with his cane; and the fire that came forth from it blinded those who watched from comparative safety for nearly a minute.
- For when the S'kra Mur returned more than a month later it was to say that Auriele's body had awaited them on that same trail near the Ocean, dead yet somehow fresh and warm as though her spirit had slipped away minutes ago.
Introduction to the Guild of Paladins: Where once a paladin spent much of his time among the common folk teaching and giving aid where possible, many now spend almost every waking minute consumed blindly with short-term goals of rank.

Without my Pride: Carrion birds circled high overhead, apparently aware I still lived, but expecting me to perish any minute.
Other
Bardic Recall: Over a minute passes, but nothing breaks the silence.
Banner of Truce: Your Banner of Truce almost completes itself, but at the last minute it fails to form!
- Like all things in DR, it's a terribly patchwork system set up by many GMs. In most cases, I suspect what they meant to use is "moment." The vast majority of the systems do not use minute. I encourage you to bug all of those that do. -Moderator Caraamon Makdasi(talk) 23:15, 4 May 2010 (UTC)
