The SALUTE command is used as a sign of respect, typically. Generally within the military and para-military orders within Elanthia.

Syntax and Messaging

• SALUTE: You raise your hand in a quick salute.

• SALUTE with weapon in hand: You raise your <weapon> in a quick salute.

• SALUTE <person>: You snap to attention and hail <person> with a crisp hand salute.

• SALUTE <person> with weapon in hand: You pivot in <person>'s direction and salute <him/her> with your <weapon>, bringing the weapon downwards in a precise, fluid movement.

• SALUTE CRISP: You throw back your shoulders, standing at attention and, with a sharp click of your heels, render a crisp salute.
