you can buy bigger hooks and bigger lines, and the hook and string is for stringing, none are needed unless you want to catch different fish

also you can skin the fish with a knife, you get random fish parts from doing it, bones, giblets, ect., i've heard the fish bones can be enchanted.--Legeres 00:00, 14 January 2008 (CST)
