Syntax

  • WEAR <item>
Wears an item held in either hand.
  • WEAR LEFT
Wears the item held in the left hand.
  • WEAR RIGHT
Wears the item held in the right hand.

Notes

  • The item must be held and designed to be worn. It is moved from the hand to its designated worn location.
  • Messaging varies with the item's worn location, and scripted items can supply unique messaging.
  • Items can be refused when their worn location is full or when armor or layered clothing conflicts with something already worn.
  • Some arm-worn shields are limited by shield size, guild, and circle. See Shield Usage skill.
  • Wearing armor while engaged in combat can impose roundtime. The amount depends on the armor's type and coverage, the relevant armor skill, and applicable bonuses.
  • Some loaded ranged weapons must be unloaded before they can be worn. Wearing a ranged weapon also stops aiming.
