Opposite. The value of mana isn't static, it's relative to the spell's cap. Lower caps are better. Energy Bolt's 130 cap doesn't mean you can pump a lot of extra punch into it, it means that Energy Bolt is a grossly mana-inefficient spell and that, once you're ready to go beyond minimum prep, even another 1st tier TM spell will be an improvement. | |
