[Skull Bowling, Entrance]
Tall brass braziers burn at the cardinal points of this large octagonal room, illuminating polished ebony paneling carved with images of goblins heaving skulls down narrow lanes. Sitting between two burning torches is a small glass counter, filled with dozens of oddly shaped trophies. A small door in the south wall leads back out. You also see a wooden sign with large lettering gouged into the face and a wiry imp standing on top of the counter.
Obvious exits: northeast, northwest.
A wooden sign with large lettering gouged into the face reads:
Five hundred coins per game per person
Northwest: Lanes 1-8
Northeast: Lanes 9-16
>ask imp about bowling The wiry imp grunts, "What, so you want to know about bowling? It's simple! All you have to do is to THROW whatever kind of ball you've got when you're at your lane. Only a numbskull could mess that up.
>ask imp about lane The wiry imp yells, "You're not even registered!"
>ask imp about ball The wiry imp growls, "You're not even signed up to bowl. What does this look like, the charity chest for bowling balls? Ask me about registration if you want to register.
>ask imp about register The wiry imp glowers at you and mutters, "I can register your group, or I can register you for a specific lane. I can also just register you for any old game of bowling." [ASK IMP TO REGISTER [GROUP | LANE # | GAME] to register.]

You also see a long ironwood shelf with several things on it, a wide ebonwood desk with several things on it and a small black table with several things on it.

[Skull Bowling, Fire Alley]
A large smoldering fire pit fills the center of this odd, claw-shaped room, and occasional crashing noises ring through the air. Dim, flickering light illuminates the flame-painted walls, which vanish into the shadows high overhead. Blazing red bloodgems hang from the ceiling high above, trapped in long spidery strands that slowly sway back and forth in the warm, dry air. You also see a wooden sign with large lettering gouged into the face.
Obvious exits: north, east, southeast.
A wooden sign with large lettering gouged into the face reads:

[Skull Bowling, Lane One]
Flickering torches line the soot-stained stone walls, illuminating a long floor of polished flamewood that ends in a small arched alcove, the gap behind it lit by blood-red firelight. In the alcove sit ten simple statuettes arranged in a triangle. Hanging above the alcove are two huge black spiders, poised to drop down onto any fallen pins and quickly stand them back into upright position. You also see a scraggly imp and a bowling scoreboard.
Obvious exits: east, south, west.

[Skull Bowling, Death Alley]
Tall ebony walls have been painstakingly carved to appear as if they were made out of hundreds of skulls stacked carefully upon one another. Standing in the center of the claw-shaped room is a huge statue of a black unicorn, rearing back on its hind legs and frozen in a wildly attacking pose. Two silver braziers are positioned at each corner of the room, their flames burning a ghostly silver blue. You also see a narrow arch.
Obvious exits: east, south.
[Skull Bowling, Haunted Alley]
Rotting boards of wood make up the walls of a claw-shaped room, slatted together like the exterior of an old house. In the center of the room stands a statue of a tortured soul, its face contorted in horror. Several pieces of furniture have been lined up against the western wall, each artfully arranged to combine into an enormous monster when the arrangement is glimpsed from the corner of the eye. You also see a wooden sign with large lettering gouged into the face.
Obvious exits: north, southwest, west.

[Skull Bowling, Shadow Alley]
Centered on a black marble pedestal, a small gaethzen orb has been set in the center of the room, surrounded by a cage of cast-iron figures that throw sharp, nightmarish silhouettes on the walls. Black felt covers the angular walls, deepening the shadows and making it impossible to see how high the ceiling is. Twin statues framing each entrance are carved in a similar manner to the shadowy silhouettes, making it difficult to tell what is real and what is illusion. You also see a curving hallway.
Obvious exits: south, west.
[Skull Bowling, Lane Thirteen]
Ghost-shaped torches line walls drenched in blood-colored rivulets, barely illuminating a long floor of bone-white witchclaw wood that ends in a small arched alcove, the gap behind it shrouded in an ethereal mist. In the alcove sit ten simple statuettes arranged in a triangle. Hanging above the alcove are two huge black spiders, poised to drop down onto any fallen pins and quickly stand them back into upright position. You also see a bowling scoreboard and a scraggly imp.
