Crafted items and semantic search

So I recently created a specific item page for the ribbed cougar-bone aventail becuase I was interested specifically in that item as a whole. It's both a "ribbed aventail" recipe, but also made of cougar bone material. So I was making an effort to create a generic "ribbed aventail" recipe page that would use a semantic query to fill out all the different bone types from their armor items. For example, the "ribbed cougar-bone aventail" and the "ribbed rat-bone aventail", etc. would all show up there. I see that you redirected the page away from the specific item and back to the recipe's page, but that defeats my goals. I was hoping these crafted items could show up in armor queries. Do you have a plan for how to represent crafted items that you can explain to me so I don't keep stepping on peoples' toes? Juugcatm 15:37, 23 October 2013 (UTC)

Item Sources

Thanks for adding items from the Paladin's Guild, Emporium! A couple of requests:

  • Don't forget to add the item source and cost. If you don't remember, click "What links here" in the left-hand toolbox.
  • If these are new appraisals (October 2010 or later), check the "New Appraisal?" box.

Thanks! ----Isharon 03:29, 13 May 2011 (UTC)

Weapon/Armor Categorization Efforts

While we appreciate these and will keep them for now, keep in mind that we're attempting to transition to the use of Semantic tags (which are broken right now) rather than categories. -Moderator Caraamon Strugr-Makdasi(talk) 01:29, 9 May 2009 (UTC)

After you posted this I did some research into the templates and on Semantic Wiki extensions. I see all the tags for "is combat type" so it seems like everything is already in place. Why do Spineripper and Blight Fist work with those properties while all the other weapons are unlisted? I see that those items use the weapon template just like all the other weapons. --Juugcatm 06:12, 9 May 2009 (UTC)
As I said, for reasons the staff have been trying to determine for well over a month, SemanticWiki just stopped functioning. But it will be up "soon." -Moderator Caraamon Makdasi(talk) 06:44, 9 May 2009 (UTC)

Anatomy Charts

I'm curious why you removed the scholarship requirements from the Anatomy Charts page?. Other than that, I like what you did with it. The Ginger 22:29, 18 May 2011 (UTC)

It's a work in progress. I'm planning on adding a "scholarship required" property to all the anatomy charts that were listed before. Once that's done the scholarship requirements will be shown. They're saved in the page's history if people need to reference them until I have a chance to finish it. Juugcatm 22:34, 18 May 2011 (UTC)
Ok, as long as it's going to be re-added, that's great. I've referenced the scholarship requirements several times, personally. The Ginger 23:04, 18 May 2011 (UTC)

I'm not sure the numbers you have are correct, silver leucro charts should be able to be read at an average of 30 ranks between first aid and scholarship (i.e. 15 each), it is not just based on scholarship unless something has changed since I played last year. -Tea 05:10, 17 July 2011 (UTC)
