-Makea is an only child, the daughter of a Human [[Trader]] and and Elven [[Ranger]].  She grew up in a home near the [[Crossing]], since the Crossing is the hometown of her father, who has since passed on due to old age.  Her mother subsequently moved to the forest outside of [[Leth Deriel]].  Makea considers herself one of the [[Celestial Elves]], since she is unsure of her Elven family's original clan affiliation and has always lived in or near large cities.  Her maiden name is Lovelace, which is the name of her father's line.
