a polished ebonwood zurna banded with woven silver wire rings
Look: The zurna is a long, slender wind instrument carved from polished ebonwood that flares outward slightly at the end. Knotwork rings woven from fine silver wire have been placed beneath the series of seven fingerholes, just before the subtle flare at the zurna's end. A matching silver ring is fitted at the end of the mouthpiece, which is composed of a single reed with a disc at its base.
