A thick leather strap of burgundy rims the shield, riveted along the edges with dull brass studs. Thinner straps segment the rest of the shield into four equal portions, each painted a bold color. A dull brass boss centered on the shield features a small ring on two sides. From the rings dangle leather thongs embellished with feathers.
The sales clerk smiles and says, "The price on a leather shield reinforced with riveted burgundy leather straps is 5000 Kronars. You can BUY the item if you like."
