The Shaping Discipline will cover creation of softer materials such as Wood and Clay. You'll have wearable accessories made from wood, wooden shields, furniture, instruments, bows and arrow making and small scrimshaw. Clay will be similar to stone carving where its a smaller system more intended for people to have fun using.
The Carving Discipline will cover harder materials such as Stone and Bone. Certain aspects of C3.0 are needed before I can complete fletching, so depending on where that is when I finish Skinning and Tailoring (leatherworking), I may decide to jump right into Shaping, or focus instead on completing the Bone Carving aspect of Carving. Tinkering will be a trickier Discipline due to a lot of the new mechanics required. Tinkering will pull from several material types and allow the creation of siege engines, crossbows and bolts, traps, toys and lockpicks. Anyhow, we've got a design doc covering what we'd like to do. It is only a matter of time before I get to them all! | |
