Look: | The frost dulcimer, a traditional instrument of the Snow Elf tribes, looks more like an elongated fiddle than a dulcimer. It has three strings and a short neck. Fragrant beeswax brings out the curving grain of the burlwood, and the maker has lovingly inlaid tiny ivory snowflakes, each one different from the others, in a spiral pattern surrounding the instrument's sound hole. |
