| Description: | Gar Zeng is a close-range electrical attack. Several arcs of electricity are emitted in rapid succession, making it fairly easy to hit your target *somewhere*. While it does tend to unbalance the target a bit, Gar Zeng can not be aimed at a specific body part and doesn't do serious damage. Avoid casting this spell in water. | |
| Example Messaging: | You reach out toward a fendryad with your left hand. Three blasts of electricity arc from you to it! A fendryad howls in pain as sparks chase each other across its chest in an electrifying dance. Tendrils of smoke rise from its scorched abdomen. A fendryad recoils from the powerful shock to its throat. | |
Notes
- Can launch 1-5 blasts.
- Requires pole or melee range.
- Unbalances target, even if bolts do no damage, which can greatly aid physical combat if snap cast several times in succession.
- Recommended as a training tool for target magic, if Chain Lightning isn't available.
- The free hand requirement is no longer in effect.
- Translates to "Lightning Hand" in Gamgweth.
