A race utilized by [[Sorrow|Lord Sorrow]] during the war. These semi-intelligent bat-winged creatures still inhabit Sorrow's Reach and attack any hapless adventurer to wander into the area, but not without some warning. Often they throw stones from the shadows and make chittering sounds. While during the war, there were other types of S'Lai, only [[S'lai_Scout|Scouts]] can now be found in Sorrow's Reach.

[[S'lai_Screamer|Screamers]] are named for the piercing screech they bellow after killing a victim. Anyone living in the room is stunned by the sound. The scouts are far easier to combat, but tend to scamper away from a fight and favor ranged weapons.

The S'Lai were joined by the [[Elpalzi]] in attacks against the populace during Sorrow's War.
