They are clean, lick, and wave as these verbs are used the level of gore is reduced to a previous level. So, if you wave the weapon it would go from slathered with blood and gore to drenched with blood and dangling entrails. If you were then to clean the weapon it would decrease yet another level from drenched with blood and dangling entrails to covered with blood and strips of flesh. Leaving the weapon sheathed always decays the amount of gore on the weapon over time. The verbs have an effect whether or not the weapon has accumulated gore. |

Gore weapons are any weapon that has been imbued with the ability to collect gore in combat. The following list is from least to greatest:
a beareded war axe.
a bearded war axe that has flecks of blood on it.
a beared war axe that is splattered with blood.
a bearded war axe that is smeared with blood.
a bearded war axe that is slick with blood.
a bearded war axe that is bloody and dotted with bits of bone.
