You see a mature Elven man whose bright eyes are half-hidden behind wire-rimmed spectacles perched upon his aquiline nose. He is tall and slender with wispy grey hair and is wearing a black velvet hac embroidered with silver knotwork at the throat, cuffs and hem. A matching silver knotwork belt loosely cinches his hac at the waist. He has a tattoo of a long, slim, silver-scaled fish on the inside of his forearm.

Zhendil speaks quietly as he transacts business, greeting each client with a quick smile and finishing his dealing with an even quicker exchange of gem and coin. Yet there is an underlying toughness to Zhendil's gentle-seeming manner that gives warning this is not a man to bother lightly.
