Cover
Covers your own or another person's mouth, eyes or ears as a role-playing action.
COVER MOUTH You see: You cover your mouth with your hand. Others see: <Name> covers <his/her> mouth with <his/her> hand. COVER EYES You see: You cover your eyes. Others see: <Name> covers <his/her> eyes with <his/her> hand. COVER EARS You see: You cover your ears with your hands. Others see: <Name> covers <his/her> ears with <his/her> hands. COVER MOUTH [OF] <person> You see: You place your hand over <person>'s mouth. Target sees: <Name> places <his/her> hand over your mouth. Others see: <Name> places <his/her> hand over <person>'s mouth. COVER EYES [OF] <person> You see: You cover <person>'s eyes with your hand. Target sees: <Name> covers your eyes with <his/her> hand. Others see: <Name> covers <person>'s eyes with <his/her> hand. COVER EARS [OF] <person> You see: You cover <person>'s ears with your hands. Target sees: <Name> reaches over and covers your ears with <his/her> hands. Others see: <Name> reaches over and covers <person>'s ears with <his/her> hands. While hidden You see: You slip out of hiding. Others see: <Name> slips out of hiding.

Syntax

• COVER MOUTH
• COVER EYES
• COVER EARS

Cover the named part of your own face.

• COVER MOUTH <PERSON>
• COVER EYES <PERSON>
• COVER EARS <PERSON>

Cover the named part of another person's face. The word OF may be placed before the person's name.

Targeting yourself produces the same messaging as the corresponding untargeted form. Using COVER without a valid body part displays the command's usage. If the named person is not present, the command replies, I do not know who you are referring to.

Notes

• Using COVER while hidden reveals you before performing the action.
