A gem so named due to its use in the eyes of the sand golems found in and around [[Su Helmas]], the sand golem eye is translucent and pale golden to pale amber-hued. With no known originating source other than the golems, it is surmised by researchers that the sand golem eye is the result of a magical transmutation of diamonds, due both to the stones sharing similar properties and to some aspects of the golem creation process that have been pieced together thus far.
