Much like weapons, each tool type has its own statistical caps. So the easiest of the tools tend to be quite balanced between durability, potency and weight. The harder tools go to the extremes.
An example of Durability / Potency Basic Tool - 50/50 Potency can greatly reduce the time it takes to craft, but durable tools take less time and effort to repair. If someone can repair their own items or even prevent them from taking daamge for a few hours, potent tools are likely going to appeal to them more. They are just harder to come by. If someone lacks the repair techniques, then more durable, yet slower tools are likely to appeal to them more. Tool Quality is what helps determine the finished product quality, modified by the tool's damage. | |
