| [[Ease Burden]] || ease || Non-Battle Single-Target || Augmentation || 1 || 1 || 98 || Introductory || Live || The Ease Burden spell does precisely what the name implies. Through the careful weaving of kinetic force, providing support particularly along the subject's shoulders and lower back, the caster is able to ease the burden of carrying heavy objects on the recipient of the spell.

| [[Strange Arrow]] || stra || Targeted Single-Target || Targeted Magic || 1 || 4 || 99 || Basic || Live || The Strange Arrow forms a cloud of crackling yellow energy which can be directed at a foe. The only close guess as to why it was named this way is that the cloud shoots out at its target like an arrow fired from an especially confused archer. Despite its strange projectile arc, the spell suffers no loss of accuracy, and those impacted by it suffer an odd combination of up to dozens of puncture wounds exacerbated with electrical shock. It is hard to accurately describe how the victim is wounded, as the magic takes a whimsical delight in surprising both caster and victim.

| [[Lay Ward]] || lw || Battle Single-Target || Warding || 1 || 6 || 110 || Basic || Live || Magical barriers come in many shapes and sizes, but Lay Ward has the distinction of being the simplest. The spell conjures up a brief-lived aura of "static" around the caster, which hinders spells that pass through it. It takes almost no effort for the caster to compensate for his own ward, so beneficial spells can come in and his own spells can leave without problem.

| [[Manifest Force]] || maf || Non-Battle Single-Target || Warding || 2 || 5 || 101 || Basic || Live || The Manifest Force pattern simply attempts to channel spell energy into a brute physical force. While it lacks the finesse necessary for any kind of assault or delicate manipulation, it can serve as an effective barrier against physical attacks. The barrier absorbs a portion of incoming blows, but suffers structural damage in the process.

| [[Dispel]] || dispel || Non-Battle Single-Target || Utility || 2 || 15 || 110 || Advanced || Live || Dispel attempts loosen the lines of spell energy that make up a pattern or matrix on its target. Lunar and Holy manifestations of this magic tend to produce a spell-killing light, whereas Life and Elemental ones accomplish the dispel by removing a linchpin element from the spell. Each type varies somewhat in effectiveness when pitted against spells of other mana types. It may be cast defensively at oneself or offensively at others.

| [[Imbue]] || imbue || Non-Battle Single-Target || Utility || 1 || 14 || 93 || Basic || Live || The Imbue spell energizes an object with an intense level of Lunar mana, readying any useless item into something that an enchanter can use. Listen carefully, for it takes TWO castings of this spell to fully prepare an item, and any previous functions the item may have had are likely to be lost forever. Some Moon Mages who can't enchant still take this spell to help those that can as apprentices, though with more mana, the larger the item that can be Imbued.

| [[Seal Cambrinth]] || sec || Ritual || Utility || 1 || 50 || 600 || Basic || Live || Seal Cambrinth fortifies the energy-retaining qualities of cambrinth with a magical field. While this field is too weak to interfere with a magic user drawing energy into or out of the device, it will prevent energy from leaking out of the mineral naturally.

| [[Burden]] || burden || Battle Single-Target || Debilitation || 1 || 4 || 115 || Basic || Live || With a few modifications, the same force that Ease Burden uses to help its subjects endure weight can be used to weigh him down. When successful, Burden weaves chains of kinetic force around the subject's limbs. While the spell is not powerful enough to actually immobilize all but the weakest or most invalid, the extra burden the spell places on the subject effectively reduces his strength.
