Nomlas refers to either a fish or a color.
Fish
The nomlas is a fish, that appears to be the DragonRealms equivalent of the salmon.
There is some speculation it was added during a time in which GMs tried to avoid making too many real world animals.[1].
Color
In reference to gem color, it appears to be a pink, perhaps a salmon pink.
