Forest's Heart Garnet

A dark green stone carefully cut so light is trapped within to reveal an intense vermilion center. This jewel can be found in mines located near heavily forested areas and is named for its mix of hues reminiscent of unspoiled wilderness.

This material must be provided for alterations. The main stipulation for their use in items is that they are always faceted, never cabochon.

Nimbus Garnet

Found around the base of the Nardel Aesker on Hara'Jaal, this gem is mined from secretive compartments of igneous rock at the mouth of the Seord Fal River. Ancient flows of hot magma cooled amidst the fertile loam, infusing the developing stone with minerals known for influencing pigmentation.

Named for the halo of cloudy ash that occasionally lingers at the volcano's peak, the garnet has been magically enhanced to display an array of colors reminiscent of the jungle horizon at twilight.
Depending on the lighting, the jewel exhibits rich crimson, pastel violet and pale silver hues.

These gems are considered "rare" items, and must be provided for any alteration involving them. They are currently only available as part of jewelry sold by Blanve's Bounty.

These cannot be added to weapons that have been bonded, and once added, the weapon cannot be bonded.
