Description: | Blood can be a potent force. The mage who manipulates it can easily gain the upper hand, causing his foes' own body to betray him. Though it is not a powerful spell in its own right, Blood Drain is the first in a long line of gruesome, blood-affecting spells. Created by the Necromancer Lybas, this spell wrings the blood from the veins of its target, drawing it into the caster to revitalize his. It works poorly if the victim is not already bleeding, but even bound wounds can be utilized by this spell.
Blood Drain does not affect constructs or other foes that do not bleed, nor does it affect the undead or unliving. This spell has no prerequisites. | |
