First released during Hollow Eve Festival 458.
Resembling the intersection of absolute nothingness and shifting atmosphere, abysselle fibers are crafted from a secret process. The resulting very lightweight fibers can be interwoven with more traditional fibers to create textiles with the characteristic feel of a deep, seemingly light-absorbing base that mimics an eternal abyss. Usually used with featherweight fibers to create ethereal textiles, abysselle fibers can also be combined with heavier fibers to create fabrics that incorporate the abyssal feel through a feeling of deep shadows that refuse to be confined.
Weavers use the resultant fibers to create several different luxury fabrics. Because of the spinning and dying process, these fabrics often display a swirling illusion of darkness and smoke.
The fabric possesses an eerie, weightless drape—moving around the body not like structured cloth, but like a localized vortex of smoke and silence.
Note
While players won't see this in its base form, they will see it's impact in abysselle armazine, brocatelle, lawn, pongee and voile.
