SONG
That Moongate Fiasco
That day when three did tempt their fate,
And horrified all who watched the gate,
Who needs good sense when madness reigns?
Their antics vex the Astral Plane!
Climb that moongate, cause a scene!
Lose some fingers, split between!
Bloody legs for Eskerith,
Raise your voice and sing along,
They live eternal in bardic song!
Good judgment clearly gone astray,
A failing all three shared,
Who'd climb a gate that cuts both ways?
Harsh, Jaelia, Kiashandra dared!
Climb that moongate, cause a scene!
Lose some fingers, split between!
Bloody legs for Eskerith,
Raise your voice and sing along,
They live eternal in bardic song!
What's another death today?
When severed limbs are strewn away?
Eskerith gathers what remains,
"Just cleaning up!" the Priest explains.
No ritual here, no dark design...
Now where'd he put that leg of mine?
Climb that moongate, cause a scene!
Lose some fingers, split between!
Bloody legs for Eskerith,
Raise your voice and sing along,
They live eternal in bardic song!

POETRY
*~ The Razor's Edge ~*
Do you ache for more,
though every step is taken upon a razor's edge?
Is your heart open still,
or must it be torn apart before it remembers how to feel?
Or does the fire numb your wounds,
offering just enough light to reveal how deep they run?
Even when the flames at last fade away,
does the pain ebb with them,
or does the emptiness consume,
vast and untethered,
to swallow what remains?
