-Makea is an only child, the daughter of a Human [[Trader]] and and Elven [[Ranger]].  She grew up in a home near the [[Crossing]], since the Crossing is the hometown of her father, who has since passed on due to old age.  Her mother subsequently moved to the forest outside of [[Leth Deriel]].  Makea considers herself one of the [[Celestial Elves]], since she is unsure of her Elven family's original clan affiliation and has always lived in or near large cities.
