Shaizahi exclaims in a lilting accent, "And if you want to go all-out and upgrade to radiant -- well, that'll set you back 500 plats. But it's worth it, because a radiant enchantment cycles through 167 colors and supports up to 15 custom colors!"

OOC: Color tokens can go in the adjective, tap, or look. Make sure that your tap and look follow the length limits of 80 and 500 characters, even with the longest color in use.

OOC: We have dynamic article support for colors, so you can have a/an precede the color name. But sentences in your look can't begin with a color token, because it can't be capitalized.

Shaizahi says in a lilting accent, "If you don't want the whole thing changing colors, you can pick a part of it, like the hem of your dress or the hilt of your sword."

OOC: If specifying a custom component, you will generally need to end with a preposition, because the default color-change messaging is formatted as "the [component] your [item]."

Shaizahi says in a lilting accent, "You can even flaunt two adjacent hues in the same item. That lets you make dual-color items, but you can't pick the two colors independently. It'll always be the last two colors you rubbed or turned."

OOC: There is no dynamic article support for the old color, so if you are writing a design that uses it, write it in a way that does not need a/an before the old color.

Shaizahi exclaims in a lilting accent, "Now then, about the changing of colors! When you RUB or TURN your shiny thing, you can have a little bit of flair pop up for everyone to see. Think shimmering, sparkling, or even a little light, but don't go putting on an entire play!"

OOC: The custom color-change messaging cannot exceed 300 characters and should be chromatic in nature.

OOC: I'm happy to use preexisting place-name colors, but I can't approve new ones on the fly, as that's a lore discussion with the GM overseeing that area.

Illiya asks, "Do the colors all need to be hyphenated or can they be spaced?"

Shaizahi says to Illiya in a lilting accent, "Sometimes! If it's a phrasal adjective that will describe a noun, like taffelberry-black, yes. Dark green, no."

Kythryn asks in a Prairie accent, "If there is a gem for it, can it also be a color? Like Ilithic emerald, from the Ilithi emeralds? Or should the example be an exact match?"

Shaizahi says to Kythryn in a lilting accent, "I'd prefer to see an exact match."
