Minoen has an angular face with a generous mouth, slightly pointed ears, tilted almond-shaped cat-slitted amber eyes and an aquiline nose. The Megela family estate was north of Shard, close to Fayrin's Rest. During the trip from Forfedhdar to Ilithi, Nikla bonded with his new ward. He was impressed with her knowledge of mineralogy. Nikla wrote off her fascination with spiders and their webs as a child's hobby.

As Minoen skipped down the street, she suddenly felt like she was being watched. When she spun around to look behind her, she found three humans, wearing elaborate laced robes, gazing at her. Their eyes were black and across their forehead, there were three false eyes.

Intimidated by their gaze at first, Minoen reached up to hold her new father's hand. However, fear didn't last long as she noticed the lace of trio's robes was unique in that no pattern of the lace was ever the same. At each joint in the pattern of the lace, there were a small crystalline droplets. It reminded her of a spiderweb.

"Is that made from a spider?" Minoen asked in a strange Haakish Tog accent.

"This is not for you - Oh Poisoner of the Web", the three said flatly in unison. They then simultaneous turned in the opposite direction, and began to walk away.

Realizing that not only has his new daughter been spurned but also insulted, Nikla began to chase after them shouting about gold is gold and wares are meant to be sold. But it was too late - the trio had disappeared into the crowd.
