This paintstick can be used for organizing two teams by color or perhaps custom designations. It can be MARKed once to permanently claim it. In doing so, you would always be a team's captain.

It can be CLEANed only by its owner to dissolve any past team commitments and to prepare for selecting two new teams. You could WAVE it at a player to offer them the captain position of another team -- you may ask only one, and they must accept the offer.

Each captain can ANALYZE the paintstick and TURN to a color or custom designation (if available) to identify their respective team.

One captain will be randomly selected to make the first team member pick -- the paintstick is passed between the two captains, who will POINT the paintstick AT the desired member, then pass the paintstick back to the other captain to make their selection, and so on. When selection is over, the owner can SHAKE the paintstick to stop accidental additions, though this is optional.

Once team selection begins, captains can no longer change color designations. From the time the owner first CLEANs to begin the process, designations will last for approximately 1 hour. The owner may RAISE the paintstick to extend that by 1 hour, but only once and only after team designations have been chosen.

Temporary titles are granted to identify team members. These disappear at logout, or if the paintstick is lost (avoid eddies and vaults!), or when the timer expires. If a Captain or Champion loses their title, they cannot get it back without redoing the entire selection process again.
