While no one other than Imrimid has observed Gull Gull's powers firsthand, she insists that Gull Gull is more than just a stuffed seagull. Gull Gull frequently speaks into Imrimid's mind, giving warning of things to come, his opinions on certain people and events, his desires, and his own dark musings. Imrimid shares these often, which seem to unnerve her friends. Gull Gull can also speak to seagulls and inanimate objects, and perhaps to darker powers as well. Gull Gull can also kill with just a glance, as Imrimid attests, though no one else has witnessed this, or at least has not lived to tell of it. Finally, despite the fact that Gull Gull is a stuffed animal with no ability to ingest food, Imrimid insists that he can eat if she imagines hard enough and frequently offers him snacks, perhaps in vain hope to distract him from her sweet, sweet eyeballs that wait just out of pecking reach. |

With eyes that display hues of intensely hot flames, the toy glares outward, its blackened-feather crown spilling downward from its back and down its neck, fading to deep red hues at the tips of its tail. A pair of lanky pink legs dangle downward, ending in a pair of dainty webbed feet. A collar of masterfully braided ocean-blue lotusweave circles its neck, dangling a tiny fish-shaped silver nametag.
There appears to be something written on it.
"Gull-Gull"
(Gull Gull was altered by Urdases during Hollow Eve 439.)
History
A harmless toy? A possessed stuffed animal? An avatar of Drogar? A demon god who hungers for eyeballs and fried potato? No one knows for certain; Gull Gull's true nature is shrouded in mystery. His earliest known appearance was as a prize at a raffle in Andreshlew. Imrimid miraculously acquired him after a string of losses, and for awhile, he was just another toy in the Elven girl's backpack. Some say it was fate, or the hand of Drogor in the events that brought Gull Gull to the attention of the adventurers.
Some say he was biding his time, slowly turning events in his direction. Whatever it was, it was on the day that Imrimid decided to help the seagulls of Kemoria that Gull Gull awoke and stretched the shadow of his silk-feathered plush wings across Elanthia. When a seagull tore our Imrimid's eye on the deck of the Guppy and flew on Drogor's command to the Temple of Eluned in Aesry, it was Gull Gull who urged the rest of the flock to pursue Imrimid and her friends across the sea, then across the Lake of Tears. He spoke directly into Imrimid's mind, speaking words of hideous darkness and trying lure her into giving him her other eye. Thanks to the quick thinking of her friends, his plan did not succeed. Gull Gull, however, is patient. He can wait. Though he sometimes frightens Imrimid, she keeps him as her constant companion, and treats him as a pet and beloved stuffed animal, whether through genuine affection or a form of terror-induced dependence is anyone's guess. While several other adventurers have considered destroying Gull Gull and breaking his hold on Imrimid, none have dared, perhaps out of affection for the Elf, or perhaps out of fear of what Gull Gull may inflict on them of they try.
Beware the anger of a seagull.
