Deschein has an oval face, pointed ears, almond-shaped gold eyes and a straight nose. He has dark brown hair that is short and straight. He has tanned skin and a tall athletic build. His shoulder has a tattoo of a coal-black raven, its wings reaching upward.

An icy breeze stirs around his feet, rising in a blue-white spiral that drags several dust motes into the air that catch and glimmer in the ambient light before surging with sudden strength that briefly deafens you with its noise before dying down sedately.

He is holding a lavish windsteel schiavona with an ornate avian guard forged of dark haralun in his right hand. He is wearing a damite chain balaclava crested with an oravir owl rising from a snowy whorl, a delicate baby owl modeled from windsteel wire with piercing sapphire eyes, a robe of layered windstorm gossamer with silver-chased cambrinth talons, a resplendent damite chain lorica with oravir owl feather pauldrons, a sculpted shield wrought into a majestic oravir owl enveloped by damite wings, a sculpted windsteel bracer graced with delicate acenite blossoms twined around a molten-core diamond, some oravir-taloned gloves with viciously honed damite feathers, a white leather sack adorned with a cutwork platinum snow owl clasp and some dramatically sculpted damite greaves enfolded by oravir wings.

MAIN HAND - WEAPON: a lavish windsteel schiavona with an ornate avian guard forged of dark haralun The swirling design of this elegant windsteel blade emerges from the tempered metal surface when light plays along the length of it. The turbulent swirls vanish into an avian-shaped cross guard. The intricate design of the guard is dominated by polished haralun shaped to embody the life-like imagery of a soaring owl. The wings are thrust forward in a powerful gesture which enfolds the hand. Radiant phantom sapphires are nested within the fuller of the blade, the hues transitioning with the day.There appears to be something written on it. The lavish windsteel schiavona reads:"A pointed reminder that there's always a key to the heart."

BALACLAVA: a damite chain balaclava crested with an oravir owl rising from a snowy whorl Feathers of oravir form the bird's distinctive head and wings, while links of mail are dyed to simulate the raptor's light plumage. Sharp and hooked, a golden tipped beak protrudes from the balaclava's crown beneath a pair of yellow topaz eyes, fixed to glare ahead. Riveted to the metal is a small copper plaque depicting a shield crossed with a longsword overlaying a field of thirteen stars. Encircling the design are the words, "Many Faces - One God."

CHAIN ARMOR: a resplendent damite chain lorica with oravir owl feather pauldrons Crafted to resemble the spread wings of a snowy owl in flight, the pauldrons meet the dark metal with near seamless transition. Resting at the nadir of the collar is a lifelike rendition of an owl's head, tiny citrines set into the oravir to create the eyes and beak. Riveted to the metal is a small copper plaque depicting a shield crossed with a longsword overlaying a field of thirteen stars. Encircling the design are the words, "Many Faces - One God."

CHAIN GLOVES: some oravir-taloned gloves with viciously honed damite feathers Artfully forged with distinctively ominous avian characteristics, these gloves appear as dangerous as they are protective. Each feather's edge is aggressively sharp while the short talons gleam menacingly with each touch of the light, their pristine white tips contrasting sharply with the dark armor. The image of a shield crossed with a longsword overlaying a field of thirteen stars is etched into each palm. There appears to be something written on it. The oravir-taloned gloves with viciously honed damite feathers read:'"Many Faces - One God."

SHIELD: a sculpted shield wrought into a majestic oravir owl enveloped by damite wings This shield is an elaborate blend of artistry and life-like intricacy. The mercurial hues of two phantom sapphires lend a sense of alertness to the avian visage when they capture the light. The body of the owl delineates the majority of this piece as the oravir's snowy purity provides contrast beneath the dark wings. Damite melds with the gleaming body, flowing into elaborate wings folded gently down in a defensive posture. You see the initials "P. S." impressed into the surface of the metal."

GREAVES: some dramatically sculpted damite greaves enfolded by oravir wings Resplendent wings dominate this piece as the oravir's snowy purity contrasts richly with the dusky body of the armor. Elaborate to a fault, each feather consists of a rugged damite shaft guarding barbs of unblemished oravir. Protectively mantled, the wings nearly obscure the image of a shield crossed with a longsword overlaying a field of thirteen stars etched into the damite. There appears to be something written on it. Tdramatically sculpted damite greaves enfolded by oravir wings read:'"Many Faces - One God."

KITTEN: a midnight black kitten gazing out from some dark shadows devised of dergatine. A collar forged from the various coins of Elanthia hangs around the kitten's neck, with the faces of unrecognizable figures still partially visible on their surfaces. The selection of coins creates a display that suggests luxury and wealth. A golden locket engraved with the seal of the Traders' Guild hangs open from the collar, displaying the message "Riches make neither man nor beast, but they help."

KITTEN: a blizzard white kitten gazing out from some dark shadows devised of dergatine. Encrusted with sapphire to give the appearance of icicles, the collar is beaded with crystal owls, their faces turned into the fur as though seeking shelter from a fierce storm. A snowflake-shaped tag hangs from the collar, etched with the words "A warm heart weathers all storms" in fine, wintery script."

OWL: a delicate baby owl modeled from windsteel wire with piercing sapphire eyes Strands of windsteel create the form of a baby owl. Each handcrafted exquisite feather enhances the intricate lifelike detail of this shimmering construct. Glacial hues of sapphire and diamond dust coat the diminutive wings of the bird, enhancing them. Minuscule script etchings spiral around the surface of the wire.The baby owl modeled from windsteel wire reads:'"All things bend to the will of an indomitable heart."
