Salute command

Salute
Role-playing command with various forms of saluting, typically used as a sign of respect, typically. Often used by the military and para-military orders of Elanthia.
SALUTE You see: You raise your hand in a quick salute. Others see: <Player> raises her/his hand in a quick salute. SALUTE (weapon in hand) You see: You raise your <weapon> in a quick salute. Others see: <Player> raises her/his <weapon> in a quick salute. SALUTE <self> You see: You stand at attention. Others see: <Player> stands at attention. SALUTE <player> You see: You snap to attention and hail <Player> with a crisp hand salute. Target sees: <Player> snaps to attention and hails you with a crisp hand salute. SALUTE <player> (weapon in hand) You see: You pivot in <Player>'s direction and salute her/him with your <weapon>, bringing the weapon downwards in a precise, fluid movement. Target sees: <Player> turns in your direction and salutes you with her/his <weapon>, bringing the weapon downwards in a precise, fluid movement. SALUTE <item> You see: You snap to attention and hail <item> with a crisp hand salute. Others see: <Player> snaps to attention and hail <item> with a crisp hand salute.

Additional Emote Options

It is possible to SALUTE with the additional following emotes: awkward, casual, crisp, mocking, reverent, rude. You can salute another player or other target, and you can salute with or without a weapon in hand.

Awkward

SALUTE AWKWARD
You see: You nearly jab yourself in the eye as you render an awkward salute.
Target sees: <Player> nearly jabs her/himself in the eye as s/he renders an awkward salute.

SALUTE <Player> AWKWARD
You see: You render an awkward salute to <Player>, nearly jabbing yourself in the eye with your thumb.
Target sees: <Player> renders you an awkward salute, nearly poking her/his eye out with her/his thumb.

SALUTE AWKWARD (weapon in hand)
You see: You raise your <weapon> in an awkward salute and manage to nearly poke your eye out!
Target sees: <Player> raises her/his <weapon> in an awkward salute and manages to nearly poke her/his eye out!

SALUTE <target> AWKWARD (weapon in hand)
You see: You raise your <weapon> in an awkward salute to <target>, nearly poking your eye out!
Target sees: <Player> raises her/his <weapon> in an awkward salute to you, nearly poking her/his eye out!

Casual

SALUTE CASUAL
You see: You raise two fingers to your brow in a quick hand salute.
Target sees: <Player> raises two fingers to her/his brow in a quick hand salute.

SALUTE <target> CASUAL
You see: You muster a quick hand salute to <target> by bringing two fingers to your brow.
Target sees: <Player> quickly salutes you by bringing two fingers to her/his brow.

Crisp

SALUTE CRISP
You see: You click your heels together/his and render a crisp salute.
Target sees: <Player> clicks her/his heels together/his and renders a crisp salute.

SALUTE <target> CRISP
You see: You throw back your shoulders, standing at attention and, with a sharp click of your heels, render a crisp salute to <target>.
Target sees: <Player> throws back her/his shoulders, snapping to attention and with a sharp click of her/his heels, renders you a crisp salute.

SALUTE CRISP (weapon in hand)
You see: You click your heels together/his and renders a crisp salute with your <weapon>.
Target sees: <Player> clicks her/his heels together/his and renders a crisp salute with her/his <weapon>.

SALUTE <target> CRISP (weapon in hand)
You see: You throw back your shoulders, standing at attention and, with a sharp click of your heels, raise your <weapon> in a crisp salute to <target>.
Target sees: <Player> throws back her/his shoulders, snapping to attention and with a sharp click of her/his heels, raises her/his <weapon> to you in a crisp salute.

Mocking

SALUTE MOCKING
You see: Your lip curls in a slight sneer as you render a mocking salute.
Target sees: <Player>'s lip curls in a slight sneer as s/he renders a mocking salute.

SALUTE <target> MOCKING
You see: Your lip curls in a slight sneer as you render a mocking salute to <target>.
Target sees: <Player>'s lip curls in a slight sneer as s/he renders a mocking salute to you.

SALUTE MOCKING (weapon in hand)
You see: Your lip curls in a slight sneer as you raise your <weapon> in a mocking salute.
Target sees: <Player> curls her/his lip in a slight sneer as s/he raises her/his <weapon> in a mocking salute.

SALUTE <target> MOCKING (weapon in hand)
You see: Your lip curls in a slight sneer as you raise your <weapon> in a mocking salute to <target>.
Target sees: <Player> curls her/his lip in a slight sneer as s/he raises her/his <weapon> in a mocking salute to you.

Reverent

SALUTE REVERENT
You see: You place a hand on your chest and bow your head.
Target sees: <Player> places a hand on her/his chest and bows her/his head.

SALUTE <target> REVERENT
You see: You place a hand on your chest and bow your head to <target>.
Target sees: <Player> places a hand on her/his chest and bows her/his head to you.

SALUTE REVERENT (weapon in hand)
You see: You raise a <weapon> to your side and bow your head.
Target sees: <Player> raises a <weapon> to her/his side and bows her/his head.

SALUTE <target> REVERENT (weapon in hand)
You see: You raise a <weapon> to your side and bow your head to <target>.
Target sees: <Player> raises a <weapon> to her/his side and bows her/his head to you.

Rude

SALUTE RUDE
You see: You thumb your nose at the world.
Target sees: <Player> thumbs her/his nose at the world.

SALUTE <target> RUDE
You see: You thumb your nose at <target>.
Target sees: <Player> thumbs her/his nose at you!
