Unlike red and blue gold which are still gold with a colored hue - black gold has a dark black surface color with a metallic luster. This look is achieved traditionally by electroplating the surface of the metal to achieve the glossy black look.
Alteration Rules
This material is required for alterations.
Generally it must retain the original shape in an alteration cannot be melted down or re-worked without losing its color. i.e.: a black gold ring must stay a ring. If custom made for weddings, the final item must have initials "A+D" somewhere on it.
