Description: | Divine Intervention patterns are active by nature and Revelation is no different. The spell attempts to root out hidden pockets of spiritual energy, which usually indicate the presence of an unseen person. While the auras that Revelation reveals are dispersed and nebulous, a perceptive mage may be able to track them down to their physical sources. Even outside the main function of the pattern, the caster may notice a modest increase to their perceptual ability due to the heightened spiritual awareness. | |
Example Messaging: | Wisps of pale grey light begin to coalesce as you attempt to intertwine your senses with the spiritual plane.
Your spell takes full shape, and you feel your senses grasp tightly onto the veil between the spiritual and the physical. |
Notes
- You contest a mixture of your magic skills against the hider's stealth skills to see their identity (success), aura (partial failure), or nothing (complete failure).
- After a success on the above you contest your Perception against the hider's stealth skills to gain the POINT ability on them. This secondary contest occurs automatically.
- Maximum duration is 670 seconds (11.2 minutes/roisaen).
- Aura adjectives: shining, dim, dark, ubiquitous, vibrant, luminous, pulsing, soft, pale, wispy
- Aura colors: orange, green, white, blue, silver, black, yellow, chartreuse, violet, red
- This spell provides exclusive access to the spectral portals in the Temple of the North Wind.
- Corrupted Necromancers may display different aura colors.
