Is there a reason we can't put "unknown" for parts that have been found already by a currently unknown person? At least this way people who check the page know what has and hasn't been discovered yet. --Anna Raven 06:48, 11 October 2011 (UTC)

I don't see a problem with it. -Moderator Caraamon Makdasi(talk) 14:30, 11 October 2011 (UTC)

Ticket Rewards

A gnome workman spins in a circle and exclaims, "Alacron, so glad you're helping us out with this! More gears! We sure do need these. A corroded gear is worth about 80 tickets, but you deserve a few extra for the effort. So 96 tickets to start you off, now hurry and find more parts!

There are diminishing returns. Received 700 tickets on 10/11 for a flarmencrank. Premie bonus also decreased to 210 tickets. --Hithrael 23:33, 11 October 2011 (UTC)

Just turned in a Flarmencrank got 1000 tickets, plus 100 bonus. Seems it fluctuates. --Samton 05:20, 12 October 2011 (UTC)

Just turned in a ruddy Spangleflange for 1000 tickets plus 300 premie --Healfdene Rokk 06:08, 12 October 2011 (UTC)

It appears the ticket prices aren't static. Perhaps they lower depending on how many of them have been turned in so far? Who knows. --Anna Raven 08:40, 11 October 2011 (UTC)

Where have folks been turning their pieces in at? I turned mine in at Boar Clan and received 700 + bonus on a "large" item. --Hithrael 05:29, 12 October 2011 (UTC)

I exchanged all of mine in Shard. As I noted on the Play.net board, the ticket values vary, which is reflected by the Gnome workman's answers when you ask him about parts. (For example, "Bah! It's shiny, says Flarmencrank on the side, and is worth about 1000 tickets to you.") I asked Solomon what causes the fluctuations in ticket values, but he didn't answer.

The chart lists the approximate values that the Gnome workman gives when you ask about parts.--Isharon 20:05, 12 October 2011 (UTC)

I've tried this with two characters, and they both got a 20% bonus on their first part, and no bonus on any subsequent part. That's first part ever, not first part of each type. If that's the rule, make sure your first part is one of the bigger ones.--Antendren 02:28, 15 October 2011 (UTC)

Tickets for Crafted Parts

After messing around with it and seeing other people's examples I believe the reward is based off Quality, Hardness and Durability.
My personal tests show Bronze > HC Steel/Covelite. Both of which have a higher point of Hardness/Durability then bronze, but bronze has a higher total. This would lead me to believe LC steel is probably the best option. I'll confirm this when I next get my hands on another set of instructions.
