Syntax
- BABBLE
- Babble to no one in particular.
- BABBLE <SELF>
- Babble to yourself, and understand every word of it.
- BABBLE <PERSON>
- Direct your babbling at another person, who is messaged directly.
- BABBLE <TARGET>
- Babble at an item, a creature, or a feature of the room such as a door.
Notes
- Babbling is purely cosmetic. It carries no roundtime, and it can be used while you are already in roundtime.
- If you are hidden or invisible, the room is not told who is babbling. Onlookers see You hear someone babbling incoherently. instead of your name, and a person you babble at sees Someone babbles something incoherent at you.
- In a silenced room only your own line appears; nothing reaches anyone else.
- Naming a target that is not present produces What were you referring to? and nothing else happens.
