About

Kertig’s List is an online marketplace for buying and selling crafting materials. Players can browse current materials posted for sale, view historical trends, post their own listings, and share their inventory with others.

Browsing the Marketplace

No login required to view crafting materials and prices.

• Marketplace Table: Shows all 116 available crafting materials with current price statistics (low, average, high) and active listing counts
• Search & Filter: Use the search box to find specific materials, or filter by material type (Metal, Wood, Cloth, Leather, Bone, Stone)
• Click any Crafting Material to see detailed listings and price history charts for that material

• Listings table: All active listings sorted by price (lowest first)
• Price Trends chart: Historical low/average/high prices over time
• Seller tooltips: Hover over seller names to see their Discord username (if they set one)

Registering an Account

1. Click "Login with Replit" in the top-right corner
2. You'll be prompted to set a username (3-20 characters) - this displays on all your listings instead of your email for privacy
3. Optional: Add your Discord username in Settings so buyers can contact you

Creating Listings (Login Required)

Posting a Single Item

1. Click "Post Item" button
2. Select a Crafting Material from the dropdown
3. Enter quantity, quality (optional), and price per unit in plats
   1. Price per unit must be set within 60% - 140% of average. We value the integrity of our data, and for that reason, we cannot allow accidental typos or unscrupulous behavior to cause volatile price swings.
4. Choose if you accept: Plats only, Dollars only, or Plats or Dollars
5. Submit

Posting Multiple Items (Bulk Upload of a CSV/Excel)

1. Click "Post Item" → switch to "Bulk Upload" tab
2. Upload a CSV or Excel file with these columns and a header row containing: Item Name, Quantity, Quality (optional), Price Per Unit, Payment Method (optional). Item Name must match how it’s listed on the KL Marketplace.
3. Review the preview and submit

Managing Your Listings

Access "My Listings" from the user menu (top-right):

• Active listings (green badge): Can be marked as sold or deleted
• Mark as Sold: Hides the listing from marketplace but preserves the price in history charts (helps other players with pricing)
• Delete: Permanently removes the listing and its price from history
• Sold/Deleted listings: Read-only, visible only to you

Sharing Your Listings

Click "Share My Listings" in the My Listings view to copy a shareable URL (/listings/yourname) that shows your active inventory. Perfect for posting on Discord or whispers!
