A fabric with a pebbled surface owing to the use of highly twisted threads that crimp when woven to create the surface effect. Not suitable for use as an embroidery thread. Suitable for most clothing, it is a medium-weight fabric.

Introduced at Droughtman's Challenge 454.

Common Description

This sumptuous fabric is woven from highly twisted phantasma fibers, which creates the characteristic pebbly finish. Silveress threads used to supplement the phantasma fibers help to create the illusion that smoke or fog is drifting across the textile's surface.
