Log

[Wildflower Meadow, Before the Gods]
Wildflowers circle a leafy bush and a large, flat boulder, the surface of which is rounded due to years of exposure to the wind and rain. Lush grass blankets the ground like a living carpet that softens footfalls. A faint path heads toward the tree line to the north, while the field drops off elsewhere in the other directions. You also see an elaborate storyplait picnic cloth patterned with fanciful dancing spatulas with several things on it and a commanding bright orange banner whose tattered ends flick defiantly at the air.

Healer Aerilia just arrived.

Kethrai waves to Aerilia.

Aerilia waves.

Aerilia bobs a brief, respectful bow.

Eskila wearily says, "It always felt to like you should kill your own ghouls and things to show that it was you who did the act so I encourage people todo that themselves."

Teavira stretches her arms.

Teavira pops the remaining pieces of the small finch into her mouth, clearly savoring the meal. Afterward, she plucks a few stray feathers from her mouth.

Kethrai ponders.

Aerilia glances up at the sky.

Kethrai says, "It seems reasonable to walk people through the process if they want, and then for future favors they can bring their own. Kind of like the Hub teacher."

Aerilia draws the folds of her cloak about herself.

Teavira's tail undulates lazily through the air.

Anuril glances up at the sky.

Anuril smirks.

Eskila wearily says, "Yeah if I have time I'd like to take people on hunts first to get them used to the idea, and make sure they're not getting noses instead of skins."

Kethrai says, "Incidentally, I'll be calling for anyone who would like to speak to do so. Please whisper to me if you'd like to, you all can get at the front of the list."

Eskila extends her hand toward a commanding bright orange banner whose tattered ends flick defiantly at the air and concentrates.

Eskila wearily asks, "Speak about what?"

Kethrai says, "The Triquetra, the Kin, any old songs or stories you'd like to share..."

Kethrai looks at Eskila and shrugs.

Eskila ponders.

Eskila wearily says, "Nothing comes to mind... i already talked about how stupid Chadatru is."

Eskila waves to Zersha.

Kethrai laughs!

Kethrai says, "Fair enough."

Zersha grins at Eskila, her dimples flashing into view.

Zersha giggles.

Zersha nods at Eskila, obviously agreeing with her views.

Katamba sets, slowly dropping below the horizon.

Kethrai says, "If I have to vamp, I'm practiced at that."

Eskila fixes Kethrai with an intent, predatory stare.

Eskila wearily asks, "Like a vampire??"

Teavira snickers.

Eskila fixes Anuril with an intent, predatory stare.

Kethrai says to Eskila, "I mean... bloodwyne, I suppose."

Aerilia tilts her head to one side.

Eskila wearily asks, "Do you bite Anuril??"

Anuril snorts, loudly.

Kethrai says, "Not hard enough to shock..."

Eskila holds her hand out towards Kethrai for a highfive.

Kethrai and Eskila highfive each other and follow it up with simultaneous finger snaps. Sassy!

Eskila wearily says, "I'll bite him for you whenever."

Kethrai praises Eskila.

Teavira suddenly gives voice to a fast, thrumming purr.

Zersha grins at Crobin, her dimples flashing into view.

Mrisa takes a bite of the noodles.

Casari briefly spreads her arms outward while singing very softly. A dome of light begins to build up around Casari as the whispered notes get more complicated.

As each feathery note falls from Casari's lips, she weaves it into a tapestry of subtle harmonics that support a line of melody in a minor key, forming the complex measures of the Sanctuary enchante.

The music takes hold, manifesting as a large dome of shimmering light.

Kethrai praises Casari.

Kethrai says, "I'm going to share some thoughts, songs, and stories, but for anyone else who would like to speak, on the Kin or the Triquetra or our history, please whisper to me."

Eskila wearily says, "That's why you don't joust while snacking."

Kethrai praises Vixonia.

Teavira glances up at the sky.

Xionara gestures, and a smooth eruption of rock rises from the ground with a low rumble, shifting and flowing fluidly before settling into a seat of stone. She walks over to it and sits down.

Teavira sighs.

Xionara coils her tail, looping it loosely around her waist.

Sonatina says, "You joust while snacking."

The rain slacks off somewhat.

Sonatina waves to Teavira.

Eskila wearily says, "Yeah but I clean my plate."

Teavira waves to Sonatina.

Teavira grins.

Vixonia briefly spreads her arms outward as her chanting intensifies. The skipping, sparkling rhythm entices the air to shed moisture and to warm as if under a summer sun. The air shifts as the persuasive melody of the enchante surrounds you, and suddenly the area seems hotter and drier.

Teavira's tail undulates lazily through the air.

Kethrai says, "My primary hope for today is that together we Prydaen can try to concentrate on the desires of the Triquetra, and see what they desire of us in current... events."

Kethrai says, "However, I also want to give us time to just share our songs, stories, and culture with each other, and with others who might be curious."

Kethrai says, "While we give a few more roisaen for people to arrive if they're straggling, I'll start us out with a song..."

Leayne smiles at Miskton, revealing the dimples in her cheeks.

Kethrai effortlessly begins a mournful elegy on his cherrywood lute, his eyes sparkling with pride at his hard-won skill.

Kethrai says, "Some of my earliest memories are of gatherings with my extended family, when I got to sit with my cousins and listen to songs and stories from my great grandparents. All of them survived the Great Migration from our ancestral homeland... Which was true for only a tiny fraction of Prydaen living at the time."

Kethrai says, "Many think the Migration lasted a relatively short time, but in fact it took the better part of a generation. My grandpas Ahmir and Mrrar were born after it had begun, and were 10 and 12 when the Barrier was raised. So, many of the stories I heard from them came from that time."

Crobin shakes Unaka's hand.

Kethrai leans back against Anuril with a loving smile.

Miskton nods politely to Unaka.

Kethrai says, "Another mistaken belief is that only Prydaen and Rakash were in the Migration. But many of the seven Kermorian races had made their home in the far west, and traveled alongside them. This was how the Westerners even knew where they were going: they learned from their traveling companions about the ancient and storied lands where all of us are standing today."

Anuril appears to be trying hard not to grin.

Xionara bows her head, acknowledging Unaka.

Gragnel waves to Unaka.

Kethrai says, "So, this song is about that journey that my ancestors took, that eventually led them to settle here in Zoluren. It's called Distant Home."

Bees swarm all around Anuril.

Kethrai stops playing his song.

Leayne nods to Kethrai.

Unaka grins at Gragnel.

(Kethrai plucks a slow and winding tune on his lute, starting in a flattened mode that lends an aura of mystery and exoticism to the story he's telling. After an introductory measure, he adds his accompaniment in a breathy voice.)

Crobin hugs Xionara, who wraps her arms around Crobin with a warm smile.

Xionara hugs Crobin, who wraps his arms around Xionara with a warm smile.

Aerilia gazes at Kethrai.

Xionara's ears perk up happily.

Crobin stands near Leayne.

Kethrai sings in a baritone voice:

"Our home in the West is now lost and despoiled,
So we set our sights East and trekked shoulder to shoulder.
We braved treacherous trails where the floodwaters roiled,
And huddled for warmth when the weather grew colder."

Kethrai sings in a baritone voice:

"We darted for shade when the sun's brilliance boiled,
Crossed miles beyond measure as we grew ever older.
We sang songs for our uncle when no more he toiled,
When our aunt breathed her last, begged Tenemlor to hold her."

(Kethrai navigates a dramatic modulation into a major key for the chorus, bringing an air of cheery optimism and more resonant weight to his voice as he sings what sounds like a Prydaenese folk song.)

Kethrai sings in a baritone voice:

   "Parabe, deyige, do draedi yureko:
Mezi koribaha vugagi rureko.
Listen, my child, your voice raised along:
Pace after pace we'll trace in our song."

Duskruin Arena Hero Saragos just arrived.

Kethrai sings in a baritone voice:

   "Radehe aana grur veetahe vefafi:
Mebaba vuragoga y griroda lohawi!
Hasten beside me and sing while we roam:
Each step brings us closer to our distant home!"

Sonatina waves to Saragos.

Crobin shakes Saragos's hand.

(Kethrai lowers the intensity of his playing back down for the next verse and deftly shifts the key back down a couple flats, regaining the exotic air of the harmony.)

Leayne softly says to Crobin, "Thanks hun."

Vixonia trills softly at Kethrai.

Kethrai sings in a baritone voice:

"It's a beautiful place we heard whispered in prayer,
A land to be welcome and be safe from the threat
That the Kin and Rakash and all the world share.
These stories we heard from the friends that we met:"

Miskton nods politely to Saragos.

Crobin says, "Welcome."

Vixonia glances up at the sky.

Kethrai sings in a baritone voice:

"Where the sun daily rose, its birthplace was theirs,
So we kept our backs turned as Westward it set.
This First Land must be where we settle our heirs,
Western songs must be sung with the East in duet."

(Kethrai strums the series of major chords again, stronger, resilient and triumphant.)

Kethrai sings in a baritone voice:

   "Parabe, deyige, do draedi yureko:
Mezi koribaha vugagi rureko.
Listen, my child, your voice raised along:
Pace after pace we'll trace in our song."

Kethrai sings in a baritone voice:

   "Radehe aana grur veetahe vefafi:
Mebaba vuragoga y griroda lohawi!
Hasten beside me and sing while we roam:
Each step brings us closer to our distant home!"

Leayne dusts herself off.

Mrisa's tail undulates lazily through the air.

(Kethrai once again lowers the intensity of his playing but stays in the major scale, the same melody of the verse now sounding more familiar to Zolurenite ears.)

Ruea smiles.

Kethrai hopefully sings in a baritone voice:

"At last we discovered what was once Journalai,
First a few, then a dozen, then thousands and more.
We raised up a barrier right where we'd arrived,
And bound the lives of our elders to shield you and yours:"

Kethrai sings in a baritone voice:

"No evil could cross it while they were alive.
It left time to prepare for the drumbeat of war,
And space for our people to grow and to thrive,
In Zoluren, our new distant home evermore."

(Kethrai strums so energetically for the final chorus that he must raise his voice to a cry above the sound of it, echoing off the distant mountain slopes.)

Kethrai sings in a baritone voice:

   "Modir, phoferitaen, ri cuihle aenan,
Sa makroaen ia rema abu aevan,
Listen, you aspiring, to our ancient song,
Be welcomed and weave all your voices along!"

Mrisa trills, his ears relaxing minutely back against his head.

Leayne wiggles over and snuggles up against Crobin.

Kethrai sings in a baritone voice:

"Morlar arthe, olkar cam nefaen li glan:
Safiral li Zohlu Ren erest trefahle teman!
Rest where you stand, dig your toes in the loam:
The First Land can be your new distant home!"

Sofina just arrived.

Sofina leans on Zersha.

Vixonia's tail undulates lazily through the air.

Zersha pulls Sofina to her in a tight hug.

Anuril gazes at Sofina.

Kethrai sings in a baritone voice:

"Yes, lay in your path new spokes of your Wheel,
The First Land will close out your final ordeal:
No more must your Kin be driven to roam,
Zoluren will now be forever your home!"

Vixonia beams at Kethrai!

Sofina gazes at Anuril.

Sofina grins at Zersha.

(Kethrai allows the strings of his lute to sing out into the silence for a few more moments before muting them with his palm.)

Sonatina puts her bloodwyne in her enshrouding clouds.

Zersha just left.

Kethrai gives Vixonia a slight nod.

Mrisa gazes at Vixonia.

Sonatina nods to Vixonia.

Teavira's tail undulates lazily through the air.

Vixonia says, "The munan tasked us with the memory so that we would not forget for the future. And we were called to remember our history to develop our future."

Anuril smiles at Vixonia.

Ectheleon smiles at Vixonia.

(Vixonia gazes at the image of the Hub on her tambourine and trills softly before looking up at her audience.)

(Vixonia strikes up a rhythmic, pulsing beat on the head of her instrument for a few moments and then starts to sing in a cadence that is typical of many of the learning songs sung by her kin.)

Teavira gets a slim brass bodice dagger with an engraved zulnatha hilt from inside her pure white sheath.

Zersha looks at Sofina, obviously trying not to grin, but the dimples in her cheeks give her away.

Vixonia sings in a soprano voice:

"Listen, my kin, for I have something to share
Of our past and our people, of times steeped in prayer
Eu, the unfathomable, our great trinity
Nature at its core, praised with divinity
Sent priests that could grasp and explain to us all
The Claw of Eu who would care for us so we'd not fall"

Crobin stands near Leayne.

Crobin takes a sip of his bloodwyne.

Vixonia sings in a soprano voice:

"The Claw of Eu, they taught us the way
The Claw of Eu, helped us day by day
Spirit- guards Shadow- stalkers Wild-callers and more
Sustained us and kept us contained at the core"

Leayne leans back against Crobin with a loving smile.

(Vixonia lets the last note of the chorus ring out for a moment before diving back into the next verse, the cascading beat of her tambourine driving the song forward.)

Vixonia sings in a soprano voice:

"Spirit-guards focused on us deep within
Concerned with maintaining the 'whole' of the kin.
Spirit and body... our kin's legacy
Maintaining the importance of our history.
They bolstered our faith and the teachings of Eu
Our beliefs and our culture, they preserved as true."

Sofina glances at a pink-eared white piglet.

Ruea gazes up at the sky.

Vixonia sings in a soprano voice:

"Shadow-stalkers focused more to the outside
They prowled, stalked and studied threats to the pride.
Historically we have been a most insular race
They protected us from all outside taint and trace.
When Lyras descended, their talents were shrewd
Guiding through peril, shielding those who were pursued."

Sofina goes north.

(Vixonia shifts forward as she continues to beat the rhythm of her song on her tambourine.

Kethrai trills, his ears relaxing minutely back against his head.

Vixonia sings in a soprano voice:

"The Claw of Eu, they taught us the way
The Claw of Eu, helped us day by day
Spirit- guards Shadow- stalkers Wild-callers and more
Sustained us and kept us contained at the core"

Vixonia sings in a soprano voice:

"Wild-callers worked hard to help us find balance...
Our needs versus nature, those were their talents.
Our home was a part of our identity,
We lived with the lands in peace and serenity.
The callers, they guided, they healed and protected
Until from that land we were forcibly ejected."

(Vixonia gazes out at her audience with an intense look on her face. Her strident voice ringing out into the space as she delivers the next verse.)

Vixonia sings in a soprano voice:

"Lyras came and destroyed us and slew
But that doesn't shield us from learning anew
History is not broken, it follows us now
If we will just listen, we now can learn how
Our past is still with us, let's pick up our ways
Relearn who we are, our heritage we praise!"

(Vixonia beats out a cascade of notes on her instrument, her ears standing proudly for a moment before she relaxes a bit and moves into the final chorus of the song.)

Vixonia sings in a soprano voice:

"The Claw of Eu, they taught us the way
The Claw of Eu, helped us day by day
Spirit- guards Shadow- stalkers Wild-callers and more
Sustained us and kept us contained at the core"

(Vixonia lets the last few beats of her song ring through the air before lowering her tambourine and smiling softly.)

Kethrai looks at Vixonia and applauds!

Mazilyn beams at Vixonia!

Mazilyn perks her ears up happily as she gazes at Vixonia.

Teavira lets out a hearty cheer for Vixonia!

Eskila trills softly at Vixonia.

Vixonia curtsies gracefully.

Anuril applauds.

Mrisa looks at Vixonia and applauds!

Kethrai exclaims, "Lovely, Vixonia. Thank you!"

Unaka applauds.

Aerilia looks at Vixonia and applauds!

Zynell looks at Vixonia and applauds!

Raising her iced coffee to Vixonia, Leayne gives her a toast.

Ruea applauds.

Raising his Prydaen bloodwyne to Vixonia, Crobin gives her a toast.

Casari applauds.

Teavira removes a blue gold anklet bearing a shariza charm and semi-precious gemstones from her ankle.

Vixonia gently sets a well-crafted beribboned tambourine into her musician's case.

Teavira rubs a blue gold anklet bearing a shariza charm and semi-precious gemstones.

Xionara perks her ears up happily as she gazes at Vixonia.

Vixonia exclaims, "Thank you for being a lovely audience!"

Leayne smiles at Vixonia, revealing the dimples in her cheeks.

Vixonia flashes a quick grin.

Xionara gets a deep-fried minced shrimp bundle loosely wrapped with a crisp lettuce leaf from atop an elaborate storyplait picnic cloth patterned with fanciful dancing spatulas.

Crobin gets a deep-fried minced shrimp bundle loosely wrapped with a crisp lettuce leaf from atop an elaborate storyplait picnic cloth patterned with fanciful dancing spatulas.

Kethrai says, "Now... I invite any Kin who would like to hear from Eu-Demrris-Tenemlor to pray to Them here."

Teavira rubs a blue gold anklet bearing a shariza charm and semi-precious gemstones.

Mazilyn veneratively raises her hands toward the sky, rocking from side to side, lost in prayer.

Xionara takes a bite of the bundle.

Kethrai says, "This is the most sacred place here in the East to Them, so if we hear from Them anywhere, it will be here."

Kethrai kneels down.

Aerilia glances up at the sky.

Kethrai inhales a great swallow of air.

Mazilyn takes a seat.

You hear a voice say, "...with a green glow, hopefully..."

Mazilyn suddenly bristles up and cries out a prayer to Demrris, looking about with ardent eyes.

Mazilyn slowly squares her shoulders and crosses her wrists over her chest. "May Tenemlor's timeless blessing guide and protect those she has ensouled," she chants, appearing more focused.

Teavira kneels down and begins to pray.

Mazilyn veneratively raises her hands toward the sky, rocking from side to side, lost in prayer.

Anuril moves over to guard Kethrai.

Mrisa closes his eyes and begins repeating a silly nonsense word, then shakes his head and sighs in frustration.

Mrisa kneels down and begins to pray.

Time slows and the air takes on a golden light suffused with green. Everything goes silent.

A very loud rumbling with pulsing thrums can be heard nearby.

Xionara's ears perk up happily.

Aerilia tilts her head to one side.

Prydaen only:
Your vision fogs over, and from within the fog steps a proud Prydaen figure. As you look her over, you are struck by something about her coloration and markings, the shape of her facial structure -- a wash of of familiarity, like looking into a mirror. She is your ancestor. The fog dissipates momentarily, and you see behind her a vast, endless array of other Prydaen, positioned in a branching configuration, forming and endless lineage, a massive tree. Your ancestor speaks:

"Descendant. You are more than a kit. It is time for your eyes to open, even if they must squint against the sun."

She gently touches your forehead, and you are flooded with visions. You see your people traveling, toiling, at peace, at war with the undead. You see kits playing in the dirt catching lizards, hunters stalking deer, and elders guiding with a wordless glance. Through it all, there is a rainbowed shimmer, a tinge to the light.

A Prydaen mage wreathes a moonbeam in stone, performs a benediction that twinkles with starlight, and heals wounds with a gentle flame. "We were hunted by those who used all manner of weapon. Do not turn your back on the weapon that will save us all now."

Vixonia trills, her ears relaxing minutely back against her head.

Teavira just kissed a blue gold anklet bearing a shariza charm and semi-precious gemstones!

Unaka blinks.

The fog recedes, and you blink golden specks from your vision.

Ruea raises an eyebrow.

Zersha tilts her head, clearly curious about something.

Gragnel looks about with a puzzled expression on his face.

Aerilia nibbles her lip thoughtfully.

Miskton casually observes the area.

Anuril casually observes the area.

Anuril nods to Miskton.

You hear a voice say, "...oh..."

Xionara hums to herself.

Crobin's ears relax for a moment in obvious enjoyment.

Kethrai gazes off into the distance.

Vixonia nibbles her lip thoughtfully.

Kethrai quietly asks, "Did, er, anyone else...?"

Kethrai casually observes the area.

Mazilyn nods.

Vixonia nods to Kethrai.

Eskila wearily says, "Yeah."

Vixonia says, "Aye..."

Teavira nods.

Crobin nods to Kethrai.

Eskila's ears droop for a moment.

Mrisa nods to Kethrai.

Unaka says, "Not me. But it looked like some Prydaen felt something."

Vixonia says, "The weapon..."

Zersha nods to Unaka.

Teavira holds a blue gold anklet bearing a shariza charm and semi-precious gemstones in both hands and closes her eyes in concentration.

Aerilia nods to Unaka.

Crobin nods.

Kethrai nods to Vixonia.

Vixonia nibbles her lip thoughtfully.

Crobin nods to Unaka.

Crobin says, "We did."

Vixonia slowly empties her lungs.

Leayne blinks in amazement at Crobin.

Xionara's ears stand up proudly for a moment.

Xionara takes a bite of the bundle.

Teavira attaches a blue gold anklet bearing a shariza charm and semi-precious gemstones to her ankle.

Unaka asks, "What did you see?"

Gragnel asks, "Alas, I am but a humble and boring human. Can someone fill me in?"

Gragnel smirks.

Kethrai says, "A number of visions. Too many to fully describe, but."

Vixonia says, "Our ancestors... a great tree of kin..."

Kethrai says, "In the end -- we were hunted by those who used all manner of weapon. Do not turn your back on the weapon that will save us all now."

Crobin nods to Kethrai.

Anuril rolls his eyes.

Ears tilted forward, Crobin curls his tail around Leayne's waist loosely.

Xionara gazes at her claws.

You hear a voice ask, "Why was it golden, this time... what are they doing to the planet, infecting...?"

Xionara nibbles on her shrimp bundle.

Vixonia quietly says, "That... is a lot to... unpack."

Kethrai says, "It was golden and green -- but, this vision we saw came to us from Eu, I think."

Unaka says, "Looked kinda green to me."

Gragnel rubs his neck.

You hear a voice say, "It was only green before."

Kethrai says, "Eu is often said to come in the visage of one of your ancestors."

Aerilia ponders.

Teavira serenely says, "We hadn't heard from our kin before."

Vixonia nods to Kethrai.

Crobin says, "Very powerful."

Unaka nods to Kethrai.

Leayne smiles at Crobin, revealing the dimples in her cheeks.

You hear a voice say, "We have."

Miskton gets a worn leather astronomer's journal from inside his scholar's valise.

Miskton releases the clasp on his astronomer's journal and opens it.

Miskton jots down some notes.

Vixonia says, "It was not Tenemlor, of white fur and withered paw..."

Kethrai says, "We have heard from the Triquetra before, just not so directly about what is currently happening in the world."

Vixonia says to Kethrai, "I would agree."

Teavira serenely says, "Exactly what I mean."

Kethrai stands up.

Teavira nods to Kethrai.

Kethrai dusts himself off.

You hear a voice say, "I do not trust that it is golden-light, this time."

Ruea tilts her head inquisitively.

Mazilyn says, "She also said 'Descendant. You are more than a kit. It is time for your eyes to open, even if they must squint against the sun.' blinking golden flecks out a ya eyes is what happens if ya stare at the sun a little."

Unaka fixes Mazilyn with a heavy, ponderous stare.

Kethrai says, "I won't try to convince anyone to believe anything -- my hope was only to receive guidance here. What everyone does with that guidance is a personal choice."

Xionara takes a bite of the bundle.

Vixonia says, "It was a golden light suffused with green."

Mrisa searches around for a moment.

Crobin nods to Kethrai.

Kethrai trills, his ears relaxing minutely back against his head.

Mazilyn glances up at the sky.

Kethrai rubs a large boulder.

Unaka asks Kethrai, "How do you feel about the guidance?"

You hear some heavy breathing.

Leayne gets a white chocolate cup topped by a spun-sugar orange from inside her leather haversack.

Kethrai quietly says, "Thank you for answering when we called."

Leayne takes a bite of the cup.

Leayne takes a sip of her coffee.

Leayne puts her cup in her leather haversack.

Gragnel gets a large jug of holy water from inside his leather longcoat.

Mazilyn veneratively raises her hands toward the sky, rocking from side to side, lost in prayer.

Gragnel cleans his panther pin with a large jug of holy water, restoring the anloral's azure purity.

Crobin takes a bite of the bundle.

Crobin nods.

Crobin takes a sip of his bloodwyne.

Crobin takes a sip of his bloodwyne.

Kethrai says to Unaka, "A bit surprised, but it certainly makes things clearer. For one thing, Eu is... very close to being Elanthia itself."

Crobin takes a sip of his bloodwyne.

Gragnel puts his water in his leather longcoat.

Unaka nods to Kethrai.

Mrisa nods in agreement.

Xionara takes a bite of the bundle.

Crobin moves a deep-fried minced shrimp bundle loosely wrapped with a crisp lettuce leaf to his right hand.

Leayne nods to Kethrai.

Unaka says, "Afraid I don't know that much about your gods."

Teavira leaps to her feet!

Gragnel says to Unaka, "That makes two of us."

Gragnel nods to Unaka.

Unaka nods to Gragnel.

Eskila ponders.

Leayne glances up at the sky.

Eskila wearily asks, "Should I talk about them a bit?"

Kethrai says, "Eu is... nature, itself. Unlike Demrris and Tenemlor, Eu does not have a personified form of Eu's own."

Aerilia ponders.

Kethrai says, "And is never referred to as he, she, or it. Only Eu."

Gragnel says, "I came here to learn. I don't know about everyone else's agenda."

Mrisa stands up.

Gragnel casually observes the area.

Leayne smiles at Crobin, revealing the dimples in her cheeks.

Eskila pushes her glasses up the bridge of her nose.

Unaka nods to Kethrai.

Crobin smiles at Gragnel.

Kethrai asks Eskila, "Feel free to continue?"

Crobin nods.

Eskila wearily says, "Ok... um."

Leayne takes a sip of her coffee.

Gragnel observes Eskila with fascination.

Unaka says, "I came to offer moral support, but if I can learn, even better."

Kethrai nods to Unaka.

Saragos says to Gragnel, "My path is set. I came here to deter anyone who might disrupt the ritual."

Gragnel beams at Saragos!

Eskila wearily says, "Unlike the Thirteen gods, there's no dark or light aspects for the Prydaen. There's Tenemlor and Demrris, white and black, but they are not good or evil."

Vixonia nods to Eskila.

Kethrai nods to Eskila.

Unaka nods.

Ectheleon nods.

Vixonia says, "Life and death perhaps... but death is a comfort rather than a darkness."

Xionara takes a bite of the bundle.

Eskila wearily says, "Sometimes they even switch places on us, because they're mischief like that. Tenemlor despises undead the most... she's the goddess of the sun and death, and rebirth..."

Vixonia nods to Eskila.

Gragnel gives a slight nod.

Teavira taps a blue gold anklet bearing a shariza charm and semi-precious gemstones that she is wearing.

Unaka nods.

Eskila wearily says, "But also the moon... I think, maybe I mixed them up. But they're mixable. Demrris shares a lot of similarity with Damaris but they are not the same at all."

Vixonia flashes a quick grin at Eskila.

A golden bell rings forth, echoing across the area, and time slows.

Eskila wearily says, "Demrris is a hunter of beasts, who plays and guids kits in the dark."

Aerilia blinks.

Teavira trills, her ears relaxing minutely back against her head.

Prydaen only:
Your head swims amidst a golden green glow, and you feel almost a warmth in the ground beneath your feet. Briefly, somehow, it seems as though you can feel -- everything. Every blade of grass, every twisting branch and bush, even the hearts of the stones sunk deep within the ground.

Your mind opens, and you watch as life flourishes, from the wild and untamed to the prosperous Hubs and far-off cities. Walking across it all are three luminous beings, their cold gazes watching. You see their hands fall occasionally, touching mountains, lakes, forests and jungles, the stars overhead, drawing forth sustenance. They touch the back of a dark, bristly Prydaen who is watching some kits. He doesn t seem to notice.

The wheel turns, with difficulty, but it turns. The luminous beings stroll by, and graze their hands along the edge of the wheel, causing it to slow, ever so slightly, but slow. They do not look down at the wheel as they pass.

Time passes and you feel... drained. Everything dims and you gasp for breath. Tremors shoot through you, shivers of fear and pain. The life you observed wilts and then dies, turning to ash that blows away in the wind. The luminous beings shrug their shoulders lightly and go back to touching the stars.

Ruea frowns.

Eskila flicks one ear back as though listening for something.

Vixonia quirks her ears outward in surprise.

The golden bell rings again, and the images scatter. You feel like weeping, but you are not sure why.

Zersha casually observes the area.

Eskila rubs her eyes.

Miskton strokes his beard in thoughtful contemplation.

A tear runs down Vixonia's face.

Leayne blinks.

Aerilia furrows her brow.

Gragnel looks about with a puzzled expression on his face.

Kethrai gazes off into the distance.

Unaka furrows her brow.

Ruea glances at Kethrai.

A tear runs down Teavira's face.

Gragnel rubs his neck.

(Kethrai falls back onto his rear end, like his legs forgot to stay under him.)

Mrisa begins to weep softly.

Kethrai takes a seat.

Miskton asks, "Some of you experienced more than just hearing a bell there, I take it?"

Unaka says, "Something else happened, seems like."

Crobin wobbles, looking a bit faint.

Unaka nods to Miskton.

Aerilia tilts her head to one side.

Crobin kneels down.

Xionara takes a sip of her bloodwyne.

Vixonia says, "Oh... my..."

Leayne blinks in amazement at Crobin.

Aerilia asks, "It seems to have been impactful, whatever it was..?"

Crobin shakes his head.

Xionara's ears perk up happily.

Unaka looks with concern at Mrisa.

Crobin stands up.

Xionara takes a pair of sun vulture-winged boots tinted deep brown off her feet.

Unaka softly asks, "Everybody okay?"

Xionara puts her boots in her hitman's backpack.

Vixonia's ears droop for a moment.

Kethrai shakes his head.

Leayne nods.

Mrisa says, "It's... hard to describe."

Xionara takes a sip of her bloodwyne.

Saragos casually observes the area.

Kethrai quietly says, "A vision of the Heralds, it seemed like."

Unaka nods to Kethrai.

Mazilyn's ears droop for a moment.

Crobin nods.

Saragos glances at Kethrai.

Saragos glances up at the sky.

Crobin glances up at the sky.

Gragnel raises an eyebrow.

Vixonia says, "They slow the wheel... they care not for us."

Kethrai says, "Moving through the wilds, taking bits of energy from the mountains, the sky, the waters, the forests. Tried to take it from Demrris himself, but they couldn't."

Vixonia frowns.

Eskila wearily says, "Well I don't know what to say now."

Unaka frowns.

Aerilia frowns in thought.

Leayne frowns at Vixonia.

Kethrai says, "But they were able to take some from the Wheel, and it slowed."

Vixonia nods to Kethrai.

Crobin says, "Everything turned to dust...and they seemed...they just looked baack to the stars."

Unaka gazes down at the ground.

Leayne rubs Crobin gently, massaging his muscles.

Crobin takes a bite of the bundle.

Mrisa says, "Uncaring, life sucking vampire-light beings..."

Kethrai is hugging himself.

Mrisa grumbles.

Xionara takes a sip of her bloodwyne.

Vixonia nods to Mrisa.

Crobin nods to Mrisa.

Vixonia exclaims, "That was heartbreaking!"

Xibar slowly rises above the horizon.

Kethrai gives Vixonia a slight nod.

A tear runs down Kethrai's face.

Teavira rubs her left eye.

Casari says, "It's a shame that's what they've become, given what they were before."

Aerilia says, "That.. does sound like what we've come to learn of them."

(Vixonia scrubs at the tear that was making it's way down her cheek.)

Aerilia glances up at the sky.

Crobin says, "Its like they know they can start again even if we may not."

Kethrai inhales a great swallow of air.

Kethrai slowly empties his lungs.

Xionara raises an eyebrow.

Xionara angles her ears forward, gazing curiously at Casari.

Kethrai says, "Um. Apologies for getting interrupted like that, but. Visions, you know."

Unaka nods to Kethrai.

Leayne closes her eyes for a moment and grows still.

Vixonia nods to Kethrai.

Aerilia nods.

Unaka says, "Take your time."

Gragnel gives a slight nod.

Crobin says, "This time its not Unaka blinding me."

Crobin winks at Unaka.

Miskton jots down some notes.

Mazilyn says to Unaka, "I think it has a lot of similarities to what Truffenyi's been trying to tell us, but delivered in a more realm-wide and obvious perspective since... well Eu is more realm-wide."

Unaka says, "I'm here if anyone wants a hug, or a snack."

Aerilia smiles quickly.

Vixonia shudders.

Crobin takes a bite of the bundle.

Crobin takes a bite of the bundle.

Sonatina asks, "Snacks?"

Vixonia slowly empties her lungs.

Leayne grins at Sonatina, her dimples flashing into view.

Kethrai says, "But yes, as Eskila was saying. Tenemlor and Demrris are siblings... Tenemlor the goddess of death and the night, Demrris the god of life and the day. When a Prydaen dies, their soul is taken by Tenemlor to her land, which is like a resting place..."

Unaka gets a juicy grilled breast of lemon chicken from inside her haversack.

Unaka offers Sonatina a juicy grilled breast of lemon chicken.

Eskila wearily says to Sonatina, "I brought the cloth."

Sonatina accepts Unaka's breast of lemon chicken.

Sonatina bows to Unaka.

Unaka nods to Mazilyn.

Sonatina says, "Thank you."

Leayne smiles at Eskila, revealing the dimples in her cheeks.

Gragnel nods to Kethrai.

Eskila bites Sonatina!

Unaka says, "You're welcome."

Vixonia asks Kethrai, "Should someone sing the Wheel Song?"

Kethrai says, "After some amount of rest, their memories are returned to Eu, while their soul is spun out once again by the Wheel into a new life in the world."

Crobin chuckles at Eskila.

Kethrai nods to Vixonia.

Sonatina takes a bite of the chicken.

Teavira trills softly at Vixonia.

Kethrai says, "Plan to end with that, yeah."

Xionara takes a sip of her bloodwyne.

Vixonia nods to Kethrai.

Teavira removes a blue gold anklet bearing a shariza charm and semi-precious gemstones from her ankle.

Kethrai says, "Eu is the keeper of the whole of our past, like Vixonia's song said..."

Teavira rubs a blue gold anklet bearing a shariza charm and semi-precious gemstones.

Dancer Iala just arrived.

Kethrai says, "Some priests, those of the Claw of Eu, actually remember all of their previous lives. Most of us only remember this one."

Aerilia ponders.

Unaka nods to Kethrai.

You hear a voice say, "It's a beautiful river, ending and beginning always... a meadow of peace... not unlike this place..."

(Teavira presses her anklet's shariza to her forehead and meditates on it)

Kethrai says, "Ra'Yureko, one of that Claw alive today, is known to be the rebirth of Vael, the hero who led us east after the massacres of Lyras began."

Sonatina gets a tiny candy Eu from inside a snowy eddy of savagely whirling light trapped within a marblesilk-wrapped cage.

Sonatina rubs Eskila gently, massaging her muscles.

Unaka says, "Wow."

Sonatina puts her Eu in a snowy eddy of savagely whirling light trapped within a marblesilk-wrapped cage.

Iala takes a seat.

Kethrai dusts himself off.

Kethrai stands up.

Eskila wearily says, "I don't even remember all of this one."

Sonatina takes a bite of the chicken.

Anuril grins at Eskila.

Sonatina offers Eskila a juicy grilled breast of lemon chicken.

Eskila accepts Sonatina's breast of lemon chicken.

Eskila takes a huge mouthful of a juicy grilled breast of lemon chicken and gnaws heartily on it.

Xionara brushes one ear with her hand, grooming it absentmindedly.

Kethrai asks, "Is anyone else moved to speak?"

Vixonia grins at Eskila.

Sonatina licks her lips.

Ruea ponders.

Mrisa says, "Oh hey, it's my birthday. 102 to the day."

Leayne gets a white chocolate cup topped by a spun-sugar orange from atop an elaborate storyplait picnic cloth patterned with fanciful dancing spatulas.

Leayne lets out a hearty cheer for Mrisa!

Kethrai praises Mrisa.

Eskila squints at Mrisa, then throws a juicy grilled breast of lemon chicken in his direction. Oooo, near miss!

Aerilia smiles at Mrisa.

Vixonia beams at Mrisa!

Kethrai says to Mrisa, "Happy birthday, munan."

Eskila wearily says, "Oops that was a greasy chicken sorry."

Mrisa trills softly at Kethrai.

Leayne softly exclaims, "Happy Birthday!"

Sonatina lets out a hearty cheer for Mrisa!

Mrisa grins at Eskila.

Iala says, "Slippery."

Mrisa says, "Thank you."

Xionara smiles at Mrisa.

Leayne takes a bite of the cup.

Mrisa says to Eskila, "Food is good as applause."

Mrisa grins at Eskila.

Crobin says, "Happy birthday."

Eskila wearily exclaims, "Don't dodge it next time!"

Crobin takes a bite of the bundle.

Crobin takes a bite of the bundle.

Mrisa laughs!

Eskila rubs Sonatina's left ear.

Kethrai says, "All right, then... I think we can end by singing the Wheel Song."

Mrisa says, "Sorry, reflexes."

Mrisa nods.

Leayne takes a sip of her coffee.

Mrisa grins at Sonatina.

Xionara takes a sip of her bloodwyne.

Kethrai says, "This is a traditional song sung mostly at funerals, but it can be sung at any big change in life, one thing passing on to another."

Leayne grins at Crobin, her dimples flashing into view.

Vixonia nods at Kethrai, obviously agreeing with his views.

Unaka nods.

Kethrai wryly says, "Feel free to join in if you know it."

Vixonia laughs softly, trying to hide her amusement.

Crobin's ears droop for a moment.

Kethrai mournfully sings in a baritone voice:

"Demrris told us before he left
A promise of a life beyond our deaths
The Great Old One must have known
That the world is too wide for one life alone"

Xionara hums to herself.

(Vixonia lets her soprano join Kethrai's bariton as she sings along.)

Kethrai hopefully sings in a baritone voice:

"So though this soul goes to Tenemlor
Soon it shall return to us once more
Passing from her blessed home
Back to the plains with us it will roam"

Kethrai joyfully sings in a baritone voice:

"And wander the forests and drink down the wind
And sing this song with us again.
And when the wheel has turned once more,
It will hear this song, as it did before."

(Mrisa quietly joins along with Kethrai and Vixonia's song)

Leayne smiles at Kethrai, revealing the dimples in her cheeks.

Kethrai triumphantly sings in a baritone voice:

"Hear us, hear us, hurry along,
Take your rest, but don't stay long.
For leaves fall to ground and nourish the tree
The leaves come back, and so shall we!"

Xionara hums to herself.

You hear someone humming to herself.

Vixonia perks her ears up happily as she gazes at Mrisa.

Ears tilted forward, Eskila curls her tail around Sonatina's ankles loosely.

Eskila wearily says, "Its even prettier in Prydaenese."

Kethrai slowly empties his lungs.

Leayne takes a sip of her coffee.

Kethrai nods at Eskila, obviously agreeing with her views.

Aerilia applauds.

Unaka nods.

Teavira's eyelids droop as she trills briefly in warm content.

Leayne takes a sip of her coffee.

Kethrai says, "Thank you all for coming. I'm... going to stay here for a bit, I think, and reflect on what we were shown."

Miskton looks at Kethrai and applauds!

Miskton jots down some notes.

Vixonia exclaims to Kethrai, "Thank you so much for hosting this for us!"

Miskton marks a page and closes his astronomer's journal, securing the clasp.

Leayne looks at Kethrai and applauds!

Unaka says in Prydaenese, "May you all weather the changes that come with wheels turning. Thank you for teaching me about the Prydaen gods."

Crobin nods to Kethrai.

Miskton puts his journal in his scholar's valise.

Aerilia glances up at the sky.

Teavira trills softly at Kethrai.

Anuril nods to Crobin.

Crobin asks, "Ready love?"

Leayne softly exclaims, "Very useful event Keth!"

Aerilia closes her eyes for a moment and grows still.

Kethrai says, "Elf-ish. Most of the time, they're more like blobs of light."

Teavira gazes up at the sky.

Zynell nods to Kethrai.

Sonatina waves to Iala.

Iala waves to Sonatina.

Miskton glances up at the sky.

Soul Surgeon Zynell patters north, leading her group.

Miskton gazes skyward and traces the planetary alignments in the air.

Vixonia says, "The fact that they were three beings of light... dissasociated and not of the kin... not an ancestor left little doubt in my mind."

Eskila glances up at the sky.

Anuril praises Casari.

Nevali glances at Anuril.

Sonatina exclaims, "Don't forget the cloth!"

Aerilia bobs a brief, respectful bow.

Vixonia quietly says, "I'm honestly still a bit stuck on the first vision..."

Healer Aerilia strides north.

Nevali says to Anuril, "Whatever claim they had... is undeserved. You take the fowl from the child before it's dead, not after."

Anuril shrugs.

Ruea tilts her head inquisitively.

Iala curtsies gracefully.

Kethrai asks Vixonia, "What about?"

Anuril says, "The pawn of the immortals was here, and a golden light infected the area. I am not certain what was seen was trustworthy."

Dancer Iala wanders north.

Anuril says, "In particular the light was green and gold, and then just gold."

Anuril ponders.

Nevali says to Anuril, "I have my doubts, as well. The infection of the Immortals was felt where it wasn't before. But..."

Vixonia scratches one ear, looking bemused.

Nevali breathes very slowly and looks much calmer.

Sonatina snickers.

Eskila angles her ears forward in curiosity.

Sonatina nods to Anuril.

Vixonia says, "When I was growing up, I was surrounded by kin and was taught a very particular path by a mother who was... very strict in her beliefs of right, wrong, and evil. Lyras was the enemy and anything associated was evil."

Eskila rubs Sonatina's tail.

Kethrai says to Anuril, "It's possible, but... Well, what they showed us was very specific to the Kin."

Kethrai says, "If it was a forgery, it was a good one."

Vixonia says, "Which includes sorcery and necromancy..."

Anuril nods to Vixonia.

Kethrai nods to Vixonia.

Nevali pushes her glasses up the bridge of her nose.

Nevali says, "Aye..."

Sonatina nods to Vixonia.

Kethrai says to Vixonia, "I was taught the same."

Vixonia asks, "But is that the weapon that they were talking about?"

Vixonia angles her ears forward in curiosity.

Nevali says, "I believe so."

Kethrai says, "I can't think of anything else it would refer to."

Vixonia twitches an ear nervously.

Eskila wearily asks, "What about that weapon we usd on the Lich?"

Kethrai says to Eskila, "That was a weapon of the Immortals... So it was probably sorcerous, as we're learning."

Vixonia hesitantly says, "I will struggle with that, but it's hard to discount that vision..."

Eskila frowns.

Casari says, "Whatever the Heralds were, and whatever the Immortals are, what's truest is that the Heralds have shown the ability to understand us, yet their behavior remains cold and tyrannical. It seems one group of deities must fall, and the other one is at least not uniformly and violently working against us for the moment."

Eskila wearily asks, "Is holy mana sorcery?"

Nevali says, "For the moment is what bothers me."

Kethrai says to Eskila, "I don't think so? I think the magic the Immortals themselves use might be. 'Divine' I think they call it rather than Holy."

Nevali says, "The Immortals in the skies have long tormented us in their own ways."

Anuril says to Casari, "That statement is comical on its face given the terrible things the dark aspects routinely do, when all the heralds ask is that people not do something that is not required at all."

Casari peers quizzically at Anuril.

Anuril nods to Nevali.

Nevali says, "I am... still torn... by their fear."

Nevali gazes up at the sky.

Casari says, "You always seemed like one of the most reasonable people around here, but I don't think you listened to what I said."

Vixonia says to Casari, "The second vision was truly moving... they care nothing for us and will use us up and leave us in dust and ruins."

The steady rains turn into a driving storm.

Anuril asks Casari, "Oh, 'uniformly' was the out you left yourself?"

Anuril nods.

Anuril dryly says, "My mistake."

Eskila searches around for a moment.

Eskila wraps her arms lovingly around Sonatina, snuggling close.

Casari tilts her head to one side.

Kethrai observes Anuril with fascination.

Casari says, "I'm sorry for having misjudged you. I guess you were a rude little child all along."

Anuril snorts, loudly.

Sonatina grins.

Kethrai quietly says, "He IS barely fifty."

Anuril nods in agreement.

Eskila wearily says, "He's baby elf."

Kethrai gives Anuril a friendly nudge as he brushes his tail against his waist.

(Eskila pinches Anuril's cheeks and babbles at him)

Anuril flails his arms about.

Eskila wearily says, "He's so cute."

Ruea laughs softly, trying to hide her amusement.

Sonatina grins at Eskila.

Sonatina holds her hand out towards Eskila for a highfive.

Eskila and Sonatina attempt to highfive, but Eskila misses and clips Sonatina's hand awkwardly.

Casari says to Kethrai, "It was an interesting occasion. Thank you for inviting everyone."

Nevali shakes her head.

Casari nods politely.

Firehawk Casari goes north.

Vixonia scratches one ear, looking bemused.

Sonatina gives Eskila a friendly nudge as she brushes her tail against her shoulders.

Nevali says, "I don't know..."

Kethrai shakes his head.

Vixonia angles her ears forward, gazing curiously at Nevali.

Nevali says, "There's more missing."

Vixonia says, "It's the gods... there will always be more missing."

Vixonia chuckles to herself.

Nevali says, "We existed so long ago... I can't pick a side properly, without the whole story..."

Vixonia asks, "Faith is what makes them whole... so they can't spell everything out, can they?"

Nevali balls up her fists stiffly at her side.

Kethrai says, "The Heralds we saw from ages past used the energy they consumed to build things. The Heralds we're being shown now consume the energy solely for its own sake."

Eskila wearily says, "They can draw better pictures if they can't spell, like I do."

Anuril says to Nevali, "Don't think too hard, just kill whatever the immortals tell you."

Vixonia trills softly at Eskila.

Kethrai says, "Perhaps only the most gluttonous three were left after their war with the demons."

Nevali says, "I'm a wizard, not a warrior. The Ancestors want me to accept the weapon, fine, but I will not wield it. Not in this lifetime, not with these memories. I made a promise."

Anuril makes a grunting noise.

Kethrai trills softly at Nevali.

Vixonia says, "I know that I will never understand all... but I have faith in Tenemlor and the trinity. I will do my best to follow."

Eskila wearily says, "I don't know much about faith actually."

Ruea nods.

Vixonia angles her ears forward, gazing curiously at Eskila.

Eskila wearily says, "Not the way clerics have it."

Kethrai says to Nevali, "You can only do as your conscience tells you. Doing otherwise would betray Them just as much."

Nevali nods to Kethrai.

Vixonia nods at Kethrai, obviously agreeing with his views.

Nevali inhales a great swallow of air.

Vixonia says to Eskila, "I only know faith as I have it..."

Eskila wearily says to Vixonia, "Faith is sometimes just sitting around hoping someone else is going to solve a problem."

Vixonia says, "But I can't ignore that message... I just have to figure out what it means to me."

Kethrai says, "I think the Temple would have it that what's 'good' is defined by the Immortal I follow. I've never really believed that."

Vixonia recites:

""We were hunted by those who used all manner of weapon. Do not turn your back on the weapon that will save us all now.""

Eskila wearily says, "That's why people invented paladins. Because if you believe in belief itself then there's just not going to be anything from it."

Kethrai says, "I've always viewed it the other way around. I follow the Immortal I do because She and I agree on what is good."

Eskila nods to Kethrai.

Eskila wearily says, "You'd make a good paladin."

Vixonia nods to Kethrai.

Nevali observes Eskila with fascination.

Kethrai says to Eskila, "Get in line."

Kethrai grins wryly.

Eskila wearily asks, "Why?"

Ruea chuckles at Kethrai.

Vixonia chuckles.

Kethrai says, "Bunch of other guilds already trying to recriut me."

Eskila leans on Sonatina.

Vixonia exclaims, "Like... me!"

Vixonia hums an innocent tune.

Eskila angles her ears forward, gazing curiously at Vixonia.

Vixonia just nudged Kethrai.

Eskila wearily asks, "Isnt he already in the tavern troupe??"

Ruea says to Kethrai, "I don't imagine this was quite the event you had planned, but I am impressed that they chose it as a time to send their messages."

Vixonia nods to Eskila.

Kethrai says to Eskila, "Yeah but not the Bard guild."

Eskila gathers up an elaborate storyplait picnic cloth patterned with fanciful dancing spatulas and all the food it holds, stuffs the bundle into a pale spiritwood picnic basket strung with miniature glaes spatulas, and closes the lid securely.

Eskila puts her basket in an effervescent eddy of honey-hued light captured by a sungold frame.

Vixonia says to Kethrai, "And thank you for letting me sing."

Kethrai says to Ruea, "It wasn't the message I most expected to hear, but getting some kind of message was certainly what I hoped."

Eskila rubs Sonatina's tail with her blue gold tailband.

Eskila rubs Sonatina's tail with her bunny tail.

Sonatina grins at Eskila.

Kethrai says to Vixonia, "Of course! I'm glad to not have been the only one."

Nevali's ears droop for a moment.

Vixonia exclaims, "Hey... give me an audience and an excuse to sing songs about our kin... and I am THERE!"

Vixonia chuckles to herself.

Kethrai nods in agreement.

Nevali says, "I wish it hadn't been golden... I wish I had something to hold onto."

Eskila nods to Sonatina.

Eskila wraps her arm around Nevali's shoulder in a friendly hug.

Nevali trills softly at Eskila.

Sonatina just hugged Nevali.

Eskila pushes her glasses up the bridge of her nose.

Vixonia says, "It was both... which... I don't know what that means."

Nevali wipes one of her eyes.

Kethrai says, "It may be that Eu is green, and Demrris and Tenemlor are golden. They're a different... sort of being."

Nevali says, "But then what are they..."

Kethrai says, "And when Eu appears in the form of your ancestor, it's supposed to be Eu-Demrris-Tenemlor speaking."

Vixonia says, "White Gold, Blue Gold and Yellow Gold are the colors of the trinity."

Ruea says, "When the thirteen reached out to their followers they were bathed in golden light, I wonder if that is connected."

Kethrai nods to Ruea.

Kethrai says, "I expect that Demrris and Tenemlor are the same kind of being as the Thirteen, and Mrod, Coshivi, and Enelne, and maybe the Gorbesh Ten, and all the other gods people pray to."

Nevali says, "It was only green, the first time... when Junebug called us here..."

Vixonia's ears droop sleepily for a moment.

Kethrai asks Nevali, "Green versus gold-and-green might be the difference between Eu and Eu-Demrris-Tenemlor?"

Eskila trills softly at Vixonia.

Kethrai looks at Nevali and shrugs.

The orange banner fades out of sight.

Nevali says, "Need more sample data."

Kethrai laughs!

Nevali flicks her tail defiantly!

Sonatina hugs Vixonia, getting a smile in return.

Vixonia says, "Oh.. forgive me for running off. Apparently I need my beauty sleep..."

Vixonia grins sheepishly.

Vixonia hugs Sonatina, who wraps her arms around Vixonia with a warm smile.

Kethrai says, "I think gods usually look askance on us trying to science them. But if you want to organize something, I'll come."

Vixonia hugs Kethrai, who wraps his arms around Vixonia with a warm smile.

Sonatina exclaims, "Don't fall asleep with the snakes!"

Kethrai hugs Vixonia, getting a smile in return.

Vixonia just hugged Ruea.

Eskila wearily says, "I barely sleep and I'm super cute so no you don't."

Eskila hugs Vixonia, getting a smile in return.

Vixonia trills softly at Eskila.

Vixonia just hugged Eskila.

Vixonia waves to Nevali.

Nevali nods to Vixonia.

Vixonia exclaims, "Be well all!"

Sonatina trills softly at Vixonia.

Nevali says to Vixonia, "Rest well."

Vixonia says to Kethrai, "Thank you again for hosting."

Sonatina says, "Safe travels."

Ruea hugs Vixonia, getting a smile in return.

Ruea waves.

Dancer Vixonia goes north.

Nevali says to Kethrai, "I could barely drag myself out of bed for this."

Nevali says, "I'm not the soldier you want in whatever war is going on, not anymore."

Ruea raises an eyebrow.

Kethrai says to Nevali, "I don't want any soldiers, and I sure don't want to be one."

Eskila ponders.

Nevali shrugs.

Kethrai says to Ruea, "Thanks for coming also. I'd offer you wine but it's all made of blood."

Nevali says, "I'll think on it. But until I'm whole again, I'll keep just being no one in particular."

Nevali parades north.

Eskila's ears droop for a moment.

Kethrai trills, his ears relaxing minutely back against his head.

Kethrai says, "Poor girl."

Ruea laughs softly, trying to hide her amusement.

Eskila frowns at Ruea.

Sonatina nods to Kethrai.

Eskila wearily says, "Manners."

Ruea says to Kethrai, "I've attended a few Prydaen events, bloodwine isn't the worst I've been offered."

Ruea asks Eskila, "Yes?"

Kethrai says to Eskila, "Laughing at my bloodwyne joke, I believe, not Nevali's suffering."

Eskila wearily says, "Oh."

Ruea glances at Eskila.

Eskila pulls Sonatina to her in a tight hug.

Sonatina snuggles up to Eskila.

Eskila wearily says to Ruea, "Sorry then. I'll save that for when I want to get back at you for real."

Kethrai casually observes the area.

Ruea says to Eskila, "Darling if you'd like to have it out we certainly can, otherwise reconsider your options."

Ruea smiles at Eskila.

Ruea says, "This isn't the time or the place."

Eskila wearily says, "You made me feel awful."

Eskila wearily says, "And you make me feel awful every time I see you."

Kethrai quirks one ear sideways in confusion.

Ruea says to Eskila, "I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about."

Eskila wearily says, "Then it doesn't matter."

Ruea says to Kethrai, "I apologize, I'm not sure what this is but it shouldn't be happening here. I'll excuse myself."

Kethrai says to Eskila, "Whatever it was that caused it, I know Ruea didn't mean offense to you."

Ruea says to Eskila, "You and I clearly need to have a chat, so you contact me when you're ready for that and we'll discuss what is upsetting you."

Ruea says to Sonatina, "You're welcome to come along for that, of course."

Ruea smiles at Sonatina.

Ruea says to Kethrai, "If you two would like to have a drink later, I'll be available."

Ruea curtsies gracefully.

Sonatina waves to Ruea.

Kethrai says to Ruea, "Thank you for coming, travel safe..."

Ruea saunters north.

Eskila wearily says, "Sorry."

Eskila sighs.

Kethrai looks at Sonatina and shrugs.

Kethrai hugs Eskila, who wraps her arms around Kethrai with a warm smile.

Eskila looks downright miserable.

Sonatina hugs Eskila, who wraps her arms around Sonatina with a warm smile.

Eskila wearily says, "Fancy people get my tail bristled."

Kethrai says to Eskila, "Ruea isn't a bad sort. She's a bit, uh... refined? Sometimes she might come off meaning something... yeah."

Kethrai says, "Fancy's a fair way to put it."

Eskila wearily says, "I was never supposed to leave the pig pens."

Sonatina bends down and grooms Eskila's ears for a moment, purring softly.

Kethrai says, "I was never supposed to leave my parents' farm. S'good I did though."

Eskila wearily says, "How does Rileos get away with being so gruff and disgusting all the time and everyone loves him."

Kethrai says, "That's a mystery for the ages..."

Sonatina says, "He's just that way. mybe its because He doesn't appear to focus on anyone."

Kethrai says to Eskila, "Anyway, I hope you'll give Ruea a chance. She's fancy, but she's always treated me and Anuril well. And not just in a fancy-person way. She's been there for us when we've needed it."

Eskila wearily says to Kethrai, "I'm sorry for making your friend leave like that... if I paid better attention."

Kethrai shakes his head.

Kethrai says, "It was a misunderstanding, they happen."

Kethrai says, "Also maybe I just know Elven body language better."

Kethrai looks at Eskila and shrugs.

Eskila sighs.

Kethrai says to Eskila, "I'm glad you came, and thank you also for the banner."

Anuril nods.

Kethrai leans on Eskila.

Sonatina says, "I loved tonight Keth. Thanks for hosting it."

Eskila gets a polished mistwood fork from inside her caramel lunchbox.

Eskila offers Kethrai a polished mistwood fork.

Kethrai accepts Eskila's mistwood fork.

Kethrai asks, "Don't wanna keep it?"

Eskila wearily says, "I thought there were better things on it."

Eskila wearily says, "Its just bundles and rats and ale."

Kethrai exclaims, "It's got waffle-tsann!"

Eskila quirks one ear sideways in confusion.

Anuril appears to be trying hard not to grin.

Eskila wearily asks, "More than 3 things?"

The rain slacks off somewhat.

Kethrai nods to Eskila.

Kethrai swirls the mistwood fork through a simple series of gestures. A Sunfall Hub jelly doughnut sprinkled with salt and sugar appears in his left hand!

Eskila flails her arms about.

Kethrai offers Eskila a Sunfall Hub jelly doughnut sprinkled with salt and sugar.

Eskila wearily says, "Ok."

Eskila accepts Kethrai's jelly doughnut.

Eskila puts her doughnut in her caramel lunchbox.

Kethrai offers Eskila a polished mistwood fork.

Eskila accepts Kethrai's mistwood fork.

Eskila gives a polished mistwood fork a hug!

Eskila wearily says, "It was doughnuts I wanted to get."

Kethrai says, "I already got all the waffle-tsann I can ever eat out of it..."

Eskila puts her fork in her caramel lunchbox.

Ears tilted forward, Eskila curls her tail around Sonatina's ankles loosely.

Eskila ponders.

Anuril quietly asks Kethrai, "Ever..?"

Kethrai says to Anuril, "It's a lot of tsann."

Sonatina kneels down before Eskila.

Sonatina kisses Eskila on the nose.

Kethrai says, "...it'll go bad eventually I suppose...."

Kethrai's ears droop for a moment.

Eskila's eyelids droop slightly as she utters a low, affectionate trill at Sonatina.

Sonatina stands up.

Eskila wearily says, "Magic food doesn't go bad."

Eskila stands up.

Kethrai says, "Oh! Excellent."

Anuril grins.

Kethrai says to Anuril, "So. Much. Tsann."

Anuril chortles softly at some secret joke.

Kethrai hugs Eskila, who wraps her arms around Kethrai with a warm smile.

Kethrai asks Anuril, "Shall we go someplace with a roof so you can air-dry me?"

Kethrai hugs Sonatina, who wraps her arms around Kethrai with a warm smile.

Eskila wearily says, "Cryle said magic food is actually when you take the tiny things from the air and add more tiny things to them so they change shape and then somewhere else nearby a tiny rock vanishes and rocks don't go bad, but they do get mossy."

Anuril grins at Kethrai.

Sonatina grins.

Anuril nods.

Sonatina hugs Kethrai, who wraps his arms around Sonatina with a warm smile.

Sonatina just hugged Anuril.

Anuril grins at Eskila.

Kethrai exclaims to Eskila, "That... kind of makes sense, I guess!"

Sonatina says, "The rocks are for texture."

A pained expression crosses Kethrai's face.

Eskila wearily says, "That's what happened last time I tried to bake bread anyway."

Eskila wearily says, "It went in as dough and came out a rock."

Sonatina says, "Let's go climb trees."

Kethrai says, "All right, well... If you need teeth repaired, just let me know."

Eskila nods to Sonatina.

Eskila hugs Kethrai, who wraps his arms around Eskila with a warm smile.
